I'd be fine with that. When reading through, that was my other possibility given how he takes the beams etc. Though, a single bonus shield may not feel like enough if he's just flat outright shrugging them off?

Ok, after talking it over, it seems there's interest in doing different iterations of these characters rather than going for the lunchbox all in one. That being the case, I'm gonna keep this specifically KOTM/Monsterverse Rodan to leave room for classic Rodan.

I propose a vote to move to Initial Playtesting.

Super close matchup that was anyone's game. The more spread out nature of the JL made it harder for Rodan to maximize his CDS unblockables, but he still did well with VC.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
He feels pretty good at 600. No defensive specials keeps him feeling defeatable when using average attackers and bonders. His wounding potential is nice, so he's likely to hold his own before falling, especially against melee units who have to engage him and risk getting burned in return.
