All-Black Darkness: Only placed 6 shadow tiles, there were a couple of times I wasn't sure where I wanted to place one which was probably just wrong

Special Attack: Getting attacks of 5-6 on multiple targets generally felt better than one big attack. If it wasn't once per round I would use it for pretty much every attack.

God Butcher: Healed 6 total wounds.

Gorr just kinda mowed down the Avengers, not even one by one, he killed Cap, Spider-Ham and Hawkeye with one special attack. They got close at one point with 9 wounds on Gorr, but then he dealt 3 wounds to Spider-Man and healed 2 wounds and was able to stay below 8 wounds from there.

Damage Dealt: All of them

All-Black Darkness: Placed all the tiles, it really messes up Invisible Woman.

Special Attack: A little less impressive this game results wise, but mostly just poor rolls.

God Butcher: Only healed two wounds but he didn't really need to heal much.

Gorr took 6 wounds from Thing and 2 wounds from a Human Torch Flame On, but otherwise he just crushed the Fan 4. They rolled a little below average on Leadership to fall behind. But Gorr being able to just shut down Invisible Woman's boost for any figure unless they were standing in the water is pretty impressive and tough for them to get around.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Gorr with 6 wounds

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: The Avengers game felt close and winnable for either side, the Fan 4 just got run over, but they both rolled poorly and he counters Invisible Woman hard. I like how he plays and love big one figure armies like this.

Did you play it that the clear sight cut off was only one direction? So if Invisible Woman was on Shadow, she could still get clear sight on someone who wasn't on Shadow to give them the bonus? Just making sure there.

I played him against the Fan4 and Human Torch barely won with 1 Life, so I know it's at least doable, but yeah, definitely not in their favor. He's very effective against a lot of synergies relying on clear sight, which helps him be the solid 1 man army he is.

Green Arrow can’t hit Gorr from height disadvantage.
Gorr can’t hit Black Canary with 8 dice.
Hawkwoman smacks a poor rolling Gorr for three wounds. Green Arrow doesn’t bother shedding a JL Marker as he can’t see Gorr due to shadows.

Round 2: Wonder Woman sheds a JL Marker. Initiative Gorr. He lays down a second shadow tile and attacks Green Arrow with 5 dice (no hits) and Hawkwoman with 9 dice (6 skulls for 2 hits). He fails to heal.
Black Canary goes Into the Fray, but can’t hit Gorr from height. Hawkwoman strikes him for two wounds and recharges Wonder Woman.
Gorr puts a shadow tile under Black Canary so Hawkwoman can’t recharge her, then he takes a wound trying to hit Hawkwoman.
Black Cnaary just goes Into the Fray and moves out of the shadow, but fails to hit Gorr. Hawkwoman can’t hit Gorr.
Gorr puts a shadow tile under Wonder Woman, then takes a swipe from Hawkwoman but takes height on Black Canary and KO’s her. Gorr fails to heal. Canary’s cry fails.
Black Canary had OM3.

Round 3: Wonder Woman sheds a JL Marker. Initiative Justice League. Hawkwoman takes height and smacks Gorr for two wounds. Green Arrow sheds a JL Marker and snipes Gorr for two wounds from height disadvantage.
Gorr sets down a shadow tile, moves onto it, then uses it to attack Hawkwoman, but can’t hit her.
Hawkwoman fails to finish Gorr from height, despite 5 skulls.
Gorr places a shadow tile on height, climbs onto it, and KO’s Hawkwoman from height, but fails to heal.
Wonder Woman advances.
Gorr lays down a shadow tile, moves to it, and one-shots Green Arrow from height and range, but fails to heal.

Round 4: Wonder Woman sheds a JL Marker. Initiative Gorr. He lays down his last shadow tile, flies to a mass of shadows, then hits Wonder Woman for one wound with his special attack. He fails to heal.
Wonder Woman engages him and manages to punch him out.

Unit Summary: Some really rough rolls on attack and defense early hurt Gorr here, despite the homefield advantage of a mountain with shadow at its base. This one felt pretty balanced with the dice slightly favoring the Justice League and the map slightly favoring Gorr.

Round 1: Initiative Avengers. Cap advances. Hawkeye moves up three spaces.
Gorr places a shadow tile down next to Cap then flies over there and attacks Cap, but fails to hit. Angel moves Hulk up.
Angel flies up Hawkeye, then instead of attacking, Hawkeye engages Gorr and hits him for two wounds (despite it being against defense of 10).
Gorr places another shadow tile and attacks Cap, Hawkeye, and Hulk with his special, hitting Hawkeye for two wounds. He fails to heal.
Hulk can’t see Gorr to Jump, Throw, Smash, then fails an attack on Gorr.
Gorr puts a shadow tile under Hulk and hits him for one wound from height. No heal.
Round 2: Initiative Gorr. He places down a shadow tile and rolls special attacks of 8 against Cap and Hulk but only hits Hulk for one wound (no heal).
Captain America smacks Gorr for three wounds.

Round 4: Initiative Avengers. Angel engages Gorr from height and fails an attack on him.
Gorr hits Angel for three wounds with his special attack and heals two wounds.
Hawkeye can’t hit Gorr.
Gorr finishes Angel with his normal attack, but can’t heal.
Hawkeye can’t hit Gorr.
Gorr flies over, engages Hawkeye, and KO’s him. He fails to heal.

Unit Summary: Gorr was a beast here, with a bunched up battlefield really letting him take advantage of big special attacks. I probably should’ve had Hulk throw him out of position earlier, since once Hulk fell to the specials, Gorr mopped up the rest of the team with ease.

Looks like maybe tweaking him down a tad would be good. Would you prefer Life down to 10, or Move, Shadow tiles, Attack, and Defense down to 7?

I think I'd go down on Life. I like how he played. I wouldn't want to drop his attack any, really, and I know you want to keep everything the same number.

My opinion, if you liked how he played and everything seemed fine, for Event Heroes just adjust life until you get the points you want.

Surprised no one tested him against Godzilla. That's the true test of a 1000 point figure. :P
