Nicholas Esenwein and the Thrall army could end up with more than 2 turns per OM.

The Thralls roll a d20 for the # of turns, so not consistent but could be up to 3 Thralls taking a turn.

I thought of that one but dismissed it because of the inconsistency. If the goal is to make sure that multiple turns per OM don't break it, best to test with the army that does it best.

I added another card, hope you like her.

after a bit of thought/testing, I was also considering making Thanatos' defense 3 and bumping his points up to 70, what do you guys think?

Turn interruption can get a little dicey. I suggest finding another way to boost the Devourers. As-is, other players may just prefer to avoid attacking her altogether. I suggest you try to find something more elegant.

Thanatos
Cool hero and nice reuse of Rejected by Death. As others have pointed out, it can end up triggering pretty frequently with some of the different forms of bonding but he is low enough impact that it doesn't particularly bother me. I think he gives a nice option for a recurring bonding option for the Death Knights. He's especially good for helping finish off a wounded hero.

Atsunet the Dark Lord
I have long felt that gnolls make totally passable werewolves. I also like that you designed her like Khosumet was supposed to be (his bio makes me cringe). I love the use of One Shield Defense. I like the idea of the power but turn interrupting seems like risky territory. I like the attempt to bridge the Anubian Wolves and the Wolves of Badru but I think it just makes a nightmare for fighting her with a melee squad. How would it work for normally bonding squads. If their hero damages her, would the bonding squad get a turn after you are done with your devourers?

As a side note, it is totally okay to design for whatever canon that you want. People's personal customs are under no obligation to any other project here. Very cool customs in any case! Thank you for sharing!

That is a lot cleaner. I think you might have issues with that mechanic if you submitted it to SoV, but for a personal custom I think it is an elegant and creative idea. Well done.

never really thought about submitting it anywhere, but I keep looking at it and can't help but feel she's a bit overpowered now... perhaps she would benefit more from a move similar to Loyalty to the Lizard King only instead of taking a turn with just one common devourer squad, when she has only 1 hp left, you can take a turn with two first. This might be an acceptable risk seeing as her one shield defense will likely keep her alive to that point with mild luck and, like Krug, she still gets more dangerous as she is injured.
