Updated the Glyph with my idea for the italicized pre-game text and sent it off to ericth74. He said already ran 1 test with the old version but he'll try it in his second game.

Weather Wand: Dropped the Sharknado Glyph in Round Two. Glyph did 3 wounds to Green Arrow, 2 wounds to a Grizzly Shark, and 1 wound to another Grizzly Shark. It was picked up and placed again in round 4 and 5 to try to land some wounds. Never found a time or place for the High Winds Glyph

Lightning Storm 17: Used once in R5T2, rolled d20 3 times, landing on the Flash doing 2 wounds, and killing him. Carnay and teammate The Top missed.

Fun back and forth game. Captain Cold took a couple wounds early in the 1st and 2nd round but managed to hang around for a while. Weather Wizard was able to fly in and place the Sharknado Glyph next to Speedy and Green Arrow. D20 rolls hit Green Arrow in back to back turns, placing both of the Grizzly Sharks and putting 2 quick wounds on Green Arrow. Speedy took a wound on the next turn from the Glyph, and Captain Cold took him out the same turn. Green Arrow was able to kill the wounded Grizzly Shark. Weather Wizard ended the round by putting 2 wounds on the Flash. Flash put a wound on Top to start the round, but Green Arrow went down from another Sharknado d20 roll. Canary had a Special Attack perfectly lined up, killing Captain Cold, and doing a wound to Weather Wizard, but missing Flash and Top. The last Grizzly Shark took wounds in back to back turns from the Sharknado killing it. Round Four saw Weather Wizard picking up and placing the Sharkando Glyph to try to do some hits on Flash, but it didn't work. Round Five Top put 3 wounds on Canary, and Canary hitting him back for 2 wounds. The Weather Wizard had a good spot for trying his Lightning Storm Power, with both Flash, Canary and The Top in range, all with 2 or less life left. The first roll is against Flash its a 20, he takes 2 wounds and is gone. Wiz rolls a 13 and 14 for the other two. Canary kills Top the next turn. Weather Wizard picks up and places the Sharknado Glyph next to Black Canary hoping to do a wound but misses. Round six starts with a Wizard miss from range. Canary attacks twice doing 2 wounds. Weather Wizard gets to height and hits Black Canary for 3 wounds to end the game.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Weather Wizard 2 wounds/2 life left

Weather Wand: Placed the Sharknado Glyph twice and Heavy Rain once. Sharknado led to 3 wounds on Batman, 1 on Robin, 1 on Flash and placed both Grizzly Sharks.

Lightning Storm 17: Rolled for once which missed. Figure was in water because of the Heavy Rain Glyph


Weather Wizards crew just didn't have the firepower to take out Flash. After some early movement in Round 1, Weather Wizard found a good spot to drop the Sharknado Glyph in Round 2. Turn 1 with the Glyph put 3 wounds on Batman and placed a Grizzly Shark. Turn 2 put a wound on Robin and placed a second Grizzly Shark. The next few rounds saw each team losing figures, Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, and a Grizzly Shark died for the Rogues, while Batman and Robin went down for the heroes. In round 6 Green Arrow and the Flash took over the game taking out Heat Wave and The Top. Rounds 7 and 8 saw a full life Weather Wizard and the last Grizzly Shark try to knock off the heroes by placing the Sharknado Glyph, which led to a Flash wound and a Lightning Storm attempt that missed even with the help of the Heavy Rain Glyph. Wiz and the shark died at the end of round 8 to Green Arrow to end the game.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Flash 1 wound/3 left, Green Arrow 3 wounds/1 left, Speedy 1 wound/2 left, Oracle full 4 life left.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: 140 points seems right for Weather Wizard. I only tried him with Grizzly Sharks, not sure how he or the Sharknado Glyph will work without them. I had a hard time finding the right time to place the Heavy Rain or Heavy Wind Glyphs. It was probably more of the team make up though.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: At first read of this version of Weather Wizard I couldn't see why I'd ever pick this one over the 100 point version. Once I grasped the possibilities of the Weather Glyphs he's actually quite potent. This is the more offensive version of him. The Sharknado Glyph has the ability to do a bit of damage, if placed and timed right. The 2nd version was much clearer and cleaner to understand. I wonder if would be too strong in a multiplayer game though. I'd very much like to see this figure released, as well as more Weather Glyphs. I can't see any changes needing to be made at this point.

Everything looks good here to me.
