Won my game against Kevindola, well by 'won' I mean 'the control rod happened to backfire at exactly the right time'.

Beat MegaSilver in a fairly tight game. Some lousy rolling on both sides, but I had a few big rolls come through to give me the edge.

It was my Star-Lord team versus his Champions. Rl'nnd mixed it up with Thanos in the first round, and Thanos dispatched him pretty quickly before Quasar (and then Mar-Vell) got involved. Quasar and Mar-Vell did very well for themselves, combining to destroy Star-Lord, destroy Thanos once, bring Thanos down to 1 Life remaining on his second life, and put 3 wounds on Red Skull. Once the -Vells were down, the Flashes put up a decent fight (destroying Robot) before Wally's speed dodges ran out and the team went down.

Chameleon was, once again, not activated for the entire game, maintaining his streak.

Fun game vs. weebaer marrowick.
After a first round of ice cold dice, my luck changed rapidly. I think I won all but one initiative after the first and defense and attack were ridiculous at times(8 skull attack there at the end).
I have ran Satanus in the neighborhood of three dozen times and this is like my 4th or 5th victory with him so that is saying a lot.
Chat Menu went crazy again but luckily the match was over at that point.
Starting to get the hang of this now and really enjoying it.

Had a wild and wonderful semifinal with Ronin last night. Ronin led out with Thanos and Chameleon as usual, while I mixed it up and started with Robot, Psycho-Man, Ragdoll, Aaron Cash, and a Moloid. Psycho-Man hit hate to effectively waste Thanos's first couple turns, with a few free leaving engagement attacks tossed in for kicks.

Despite my having +10 to initiative with Dagmar and Robot (over 88% chance to win), Ronin won round 2 initiative and Thanos 86'ed Psycho-Man with a big hit on the first OM to deny the Hate. Still, with Robot protected by Aaron Cash to hold the rings, using E-Mag Rings to fling Thanos around with Ragdoll stuck to him, I was able to take down the Mad Titan fairly quickly, and then take him down again after he was spurned. The E-Mags also proved useful in breaking apart the Star-Lord pod.

Eventually both Aaron Cash and Jocasta were worn down, and the rings fell into evil hands. Red Skull proved remarkably hard to kill, blocking a big hit that would have knocked the cube out, and then consistently hitting his Master Motivator activation. Eventually Ronin managed to assemble his Robot->Red Skull->Fantomex turn chain, enhanced by Star-Lord. It looked pretty bleak for my side, particularly when Groot failed to kill Red Skull and got hit back much harder. But Iron Patriot came in at the end and did some work. He pulled the E-rings back and sent Star-Lord away again, although another big init loss after taking a chance with Iron Patriot (again, while holding Dagmar!) led to Fantomex getting shots at IP that brought him to the brink of death.

However, with IP one life from death, I went on one of those big OM-killing runs that can turn a blowout loss into a narrow win. IP killed Fantomex with an OM on him, allowing Arnim Zola to kill Red Skull. Then IP took the cube, did a wound to Star-Lord with it, and then did the last three wounds to Star-Lord with two attacks of 5 to kill another OM. IP then swung around and killed Robot (who had held out nearly the entire game) to complete the trifecta of OM-draining goodness. I won with a 1-life IP, Arnim Zola, and two moloids.

Great game, dok! A couple of big momentum swings in that match (helped along by some timely rolls on my part). Not at all a bad way to get knocked out of the tournament.
