Yea I get not wanting to have a super specific glyph that's only tied to this dude but, it's kinda Pennywise's thing. I'm okay with it.

I think in general, when you think of a haunted red balloon, you think Pennywise anyway right?

Also, just a thought, maybe add DOs to that Immunities list on the balloon?

Could also call it "Glyph of Horrific Illusion" or something like that, with the Balloon being the pic on the glyph. That way it's slightly more general, while still clearly Pennywise's thing. Then the general debuff makes sense as it could be any random horrific illusion throwing people off their game.

Pennywise and Sadako setup shop right in front of the enemy start zone, subtracting from their defense and d20 rolls. Pennywise unfortunately got hit hard by a 10 skull attack from Gorgon, and then ganged up on from there. He still managed to do a wound on Psylocke before falling, and the balloon still subtracted from a few rolls of Gorgon's post death. Very close finish with Psylocke taking the win just barely over Sam.

Decent back and forth that felt like anyone's game for the majority of it, but the last bit went into the favor of the Fighters and they capitalized. Pennywise had more of an impact here and fared well. The Fighters managed to avoid several LEAs thrown their way, and Pinhead botched a defense that led to 4 wounds, so that may have been just enough to take it.

Felt like anyone's game in the end. Luck wise was pretty equal. Pennywise did some decent damage here, but nothing over his point value.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY:
He's a solid addition to the faction. The - to d20 rolls is nice, and his re-rolls can make for some fun decision making risk/reward scenarios as you fish for the Deadlights trigger.

I'd go with something like GLYPH OF HAUNTED BALLOON and just make it a straight up -4 to D20 rolls (I'd even be fine with -6, honestly, if we're not bothered by his cost going up). That way it's completely playable without Pennywise and streamlines things here quite a bit while still being a great combination with him.

I dig the power set in the SP overall and how you got here. I'd argue it's just maybe a hair too complex with all the calculations, though, which is why I like streamlining the glyph with the above suggestion.

A straight -4 would prob. be fine. Anything beyond would be pretty brutal to certain units.

Sure, but that's why I said if we don't mind his power level going up. The 2 space restriction means that in a glyph pool it's not so bad, as you're not going to be able to move it around or anything. But, yeah, straight up -4 works for me and streamlines stuff a bit while also making the glyph make more sense in a glyph pool (which is something I'm starting to care more and more about as I get into the map building side of things).

Would -3 id the glyph is unoccupied/-5 if Pennywise is standing on the glyph (holding the balloon) be a viable option at all?

I'd prob. go -3/-6 with that approach.

If we want to cut down on math, we could then eliminate them adding their remaining Life number to the roll, and then change the trigger to 3 or lower(effectively a 6/9 or lower).

I think it's a better addition to a glyph pool with no Pennywise call-outs on it.

I'm in favor of that change, but could see keeping it at 6 or lower and making the balloon a straight up -3.
