No I didn't put any of my double based Transformer figures on a base and I did a ton of testing with them. I did like using the flight base for Laserbeak when I tried that out, but it's not mandatory to use one. I still have not glued my Laserbeak to the flight base, he's just sitting on it for the picture. Mostly because I value keeping those transformer toys unmodified as I'm also a toy collector. If you are the sort of person who thinks it's necessary to do so, then by all means add a base.

Christmas in July, indeed!!! All we need is the A-team, G I. Joe, Go-bots, and Black star, and we will have the entire action figures section of the 1984 Sears Wish Book translated to Heroscape.

That's awesome. G.I. Joe will definitely happen, pending Clix figures. Don't even know what Black Star is! A-Team and Go-bots would be fun. Not sure what the comic histories are on those (or if Go-bot figures are even still findable).

Thanks guys for clarifying! Yeah I'm not going to base them either I don't think. Seems very anti transformers to pin their legs. Besides, as a transformer collector, it would hurt too much to ruin them.

Edit: BTW, are there any plans to create a masterset with scenarios for the Transformers?

Blackstar was awesome, well not really, it does not hold up super well.
Blackstar wielded the Star Sword, his nemesis wielded the Power Sword, together they formed the Power Star.
He was friends with a changeling and Keebler elves, I think they called them Trollits.

Did anyone else have the Keebler elf “Trobbit” toys? They were solid chunks of plastic. I remember getting a bruise when a friend threw one at me. The demon/goblin toys were really cool.

Yeah, it was a weird he-man/dungeons and dragons hybrid show, if I remember correctly.

I don't know about any Masterset plans, but anyone who wants to create a scenario can get involved with the map department and do so. The Slums of Rio scenario was one of the first things I did around here. I bet you could use a castle set or two to create a oil rig or nuclear power plant for the Decipticons to try and take control of. Or maybe keep it simpler and just make a map that features the Ark. The Autobots and their human allies must defend the Ark from a Decipticon attack. Concrete & Asphalt tiles might work well for inside the Ark spaces.

A Transformers Master Set would have had Optimus in it.

Notably, Master Sets are really, really hard.
