Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
Oh, for sure. I don't think it's broken. Just that it could be fun!
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? No - What should be the unit's point value? Don't know. - Give a brief summary. Draining 4 battery markers per turn and giving Manhunters OM flexibility is too strong here. Units: Mad Thinker (160), Manhunter x3, Sinestro and Sinestro Corps Soldierx2 (1130) VS GL Hal, GL Guy, GL John and GC Mech (1130)
Spoiler Alert!
Do we want to rework his Android Affinity or just accept that this is a prefect counterdraft army? |

Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
How much of that is due to Manhunters being poised to be their counter draft already, though? Was Arkillo part of army one? He's not listed in the units.
Notably, Killowog is not there. He and the future Jade are meant to be the counter counter to the Manhunters. How often are people going to play 1130 point armies? How well do the Manhunters and Mad Thinker perform together at other price points? How were the dice in the game? Did they feel normally distributed or were there any anomalies? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
I played Arkillo but I forgot I left him out of the army. I'll rerun it with Kilowog included in the GL army and see if that helps.
The dice were fairly balanced. |

Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
OK. Thanks. If they dominate twice in a row, we can try losing the X part maybe?

Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
This design kinda fell off of my radar, me and Griffin had talked about doing this initial together and I totally forgot to do this before I left. If anyone gets the chance to run about 4 army tests with him I would really appreciate it.

Re: The Book of Mad Thinker - Design
If no one else does first, I can grab it after Brainiac. But, yeah, I was wondering about this.
