I saw before the game even started that they are planning on giving Garrett an extension in the off season. I hope they let the OC go though and hire someone new to at least shake things up on that side of the ball. I really don't like some of the play calling decisions. Unfortunately most of the top prospects for that position have already been hired for one of openings created via the 8 new head coaches this year, so I don't even know who we could get at this point. I didn't think we could go all the way this year with such a young team and several players playing hurt, or out completely, but I was hopeful we could go a little further and build up some play off experience. I thought Dak played pretty well, along with Cooper and Gallop. I don't know what happened to the run defense but that is what killed us. They shut down the #1 run offense just last week, holding Seattle to less than 80 rushing yards as a team when their season average was 160. I believe they only gave up one or two 100 yard rushing efforts to a single player all year long, to have two players rush for 100 yards in the same game was quite shocking based on previous efforts. That O-Line for the Rams played pretty great for them.

I'm already declaring the Bud Light Game of Thrones cross over commercial as the best one. That was a pretty good decision on those companies parts to save some money and purchase one slot for both of them, plus it was just a well executed idea.

I only said "Go Patriots" because they were able to get that last field goal and get the last number in each score to be 3 again to win me another $125, just like the $125 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Interestingly enough, my brother in law also won $125 for each of the first two quarters because of 3-0 scores.

First time I've ever won anything in Super Bowl squares.

It was not a good game. The best parts were as follows: 1) Bud Light / Game of Thrones ad. I don’t like that campaign but man they got me good with that one. 2) Adam Levine. Not a huge fan of the music but he’s a showman. 3) Edelman winning mvp instead of that insufferable toolbag Brady.

The best play of the game itself was the record setting punt that gently rolled 65 yards. Yawn.

Edit: And like I said, I'm not a huge fan of Adam Levine's style of pop music, but anyone who says he doesn't have chops as a musician can fight me. I was disappointed the halftime show didn't really give him a chance to show off his skillz.
