I think some names have been clarified. Charos' pronunciation even made the FAQ.

Aquilla=A-kwil-uh
Vydar=Vi-dawr
Einar=Ahy-nawr
Jandar=Jan-dawr
Ullar=Oo-lawr
Utgar=Uht-gawr
Charos=kayr-ohs (I have a friend who pronounces it chawr-ohs)
Malodorr=Mala-door

But mostly, I would rather be able to pronounce something easily than correctly during a game. I call the rechets of bogdan "retches" for my own convenience.

1 more day left for final opinions on the 6 Generals.

So far it's:

Aquilla (Uh-keel-uh)
Einar (Ahy-nawr)
Jandar (Jan-dawr)
Ullar (Oo-lawr)
Utgar (Uht-gawr)
Vydar (Vahy-dawr)

Remember, your opinion counts!

The only one I'm really stumped on is Dupuis. How the heck do you say that?

The final results have been tallied for the six Generals. The official pronunciations have been posted in green.

I have also posted the next batch of questioned pronunciations for Rise of the Valkyrie

Included are the names of armies, glyphs, regions, species, etc.

Again, if you have a pronunciation that is not listed, please submit it along with your opinion of the entire batch.

You have 1 full week to submit your opinions.

This tally will end Sunday, August 26, 2007.

I asked the demo guys at Gencon how they pronounce Aquilla's name. I can't remember if I asked Craig specifically, but the definitive answer was Uh-quill-uh.

Personally, I like....I'll-Kill-Ya.
