Re: Season 25 - Round 2 Posted
vegie and I are going at 9 ET tonight, me with my Crypts/Braxas, and vegie with his Chainfighters/Hoplitrons.
EDIT: Braxas got some early hits, and I won with just 2 wounds on a crypt guardian and 1 on Braxas. Last edited by superfrog; August 30th, 2016 at 09:42 PM. |

Re: Season 25 - Round 2 Posted
superfrog was able to get the win against the legendary Engagement Strikes Back team. On the second turn of the game, I got one of those terrible Deathwalker rolls that happen all the time, you know, when your Deathwalker gets Posion Acid Breathed. From there I didn't have a way to kill the dragon, and I just kind of threw random stuff at her until I lost. I did pull off a Chaingrab into a successful Engagement Strike though

Re: Season 25 - Round 2 Posted
I managed to squeeze out the win. I played his Gladiator Squad vs my Nagrub+TKN army and got a big momentum round early where I won initiative and was able to pop his KMAs and force him to waste a OM2. Nearly gave it back with some noobie mistakes later in the game while Tor-Kul-Na ran amok on my gladiators, never missing a trample roll, but was able to regroup around the Wannok Glyph (which I also rolled a 1 on at one point...) and punched through enough damage to kill him before he trampled my last 3 Glads to death.
Fun game @William099 ! |

EDIT: Game. Well...the dice were simply against Taeblewalker this time around. Even though he outnumbered me in figures my Raelin buffed Warforged hit hard and had really good position...not to mention the shadow bonus at times. It really came down to dice though, Taeblewalker just had the worst luck with dice and lost most all of his axegrinders rather quickly. I had 5 warforged, unwounded Kaemon and 4 life Raelin against Migol, 2 life Darrak and 2 life Ulfrid at which point he condeded the match....and though he could have made a bit of a comeback...at that point, with my position it would have been a slow bleed for him. Well played, but the dice gods just hated him this time around. Sir Heroscape's Content

Re: Season 25 - Round 2 Posted
Sparkle (4th Mass x2, Templars x2, Gilbert) and I (Spiders x3, Sujoah, G-Nators x2) managed to get our game in just now. Dice were really killer.
I was able to neutralize the 4th Mass fairly quickly around an initiative switch when I had charged in with Sujoah and spiders end of round 1. The were down to 2 before Sparkle switched to Templars who got rid of all the encroaching spiders and Sujoah. However I won a huge round 3 initiative that let me get 3 heightened attacks with gorillinators and my 3v3 and 2x 3v4 were all kills dropping him to 2 Templars. That was pretty much the game. Gilbert hung around for a while, but fell eventually. I got the win with 5 Gorillas and 1 spider left. |

EDIT: In a reversion to past form of dok/Dysole games, the Beatles were triumphant. The dice were characteristically unkind to Sam. Ringo was the Starr of the game, just by inflicting 5 Wannok wounds. Most of the rest of the damage was done by the chainfighters, although John did drop the last two wounds on Brunak in one hit (Imagine that). George was the only Crypto that was sent off to My Sweet Lord. Last edited by dok; September 2nd, 2016 at 11:13 PM. Reason: Maybe I can only beat Dysole online? |
