Second game, me and Tyr got into the castle twice but the game was stopped for time considerations, but we won on points.
We totally had em.

I have to get Jotun. I really, really have to get Jotun.

Q19?
Dude, I want Q19 :P

Yeah, that guy is tough,
I love Deadeye, first time we got him, I was playing JAZZ, and it was large armies.. 750 points each. There was one bridge over the water.
He comes up to me with
Q9, roll a 20 dead
Brunak, roll a 19, dead
Drake, roll a 20, dead

It was great.

Details are being dicussed right now,
Start making your 500 point armies, and there will be a twist!
we have about 5 week to gather as many people as possible!

Welcome Fellas,
Great to hear of some more Kitchenerites or Waterlooians. I always wondered who was buying up those HS packs in the KW area before me (J/K). We'll definitely have to get together for some HS gaming soon; maybe sometime next week or on the following weekend (17th). It will be good practice before the tourney (if your able to make it).

Okay this is it!

Signups are open, please respond ASAP.
The first post [LINKED HERE]I have a list of people that have said they are coming so far, I didn't want to be presumptuous so some names aren't there yet.

Please invite your friends,
I have a list of for sures, the core group of about 12 already!
I have a list fo 35 possibilities!

Keep in mind there will be a $5 entry fee to offset the cost of prizes
there are prizes available, and a Jr. tournament for kids age 8-15 is going to take place as well.

We need to know just a little bit:
Please post the following or PM me.
-Can you make some maps and show up before signups?
-Do you have a child interested in playing in the Jr. Tournament?
-Do you have someone interested in helping supervize the Jr. tournament?
-Do you need a place to stay overnight if you're travelling far? We are offering a limited number of spots for those travelling really far to stay in our homes for free with free breakfast!

Lets make this huge!

Map building contest! - Due date: March 3
We need to pick maps for the tournament, when thinking of what to use, wouldn't it be great to have a map created just for the tournament?

We want you to create a map and send them to me (upload them to the site and post a link to me).

What do you get?
- First of all, you'll have the advantage of knowing the map the best at the tournament!
- Its fun, and you can say you won the contest
- Something special (not very costly), a surprise will be given at the tournament
- If it works out, it will also be the map used for the final match up!

Rules:
We are taking suggestions for maps to use in the tournament and the requirements are the same as that for the map contest.
-It must be balanced, doesn't have to be symmetrical.
- 1 or 2 Master sets
- No more than a few special terrain sets (it can't have like 2 road to the forgotten forests, 4 castle sets and 3 tundras etc)

Hey, thanks for PM'ing me this, Ketch! I never would have seen it otherwise.

I'd love to go. I'll have to talk to my parents, as a 350km drive is a bit far for me to walk.
I'd be more than happy to bring a $5 entrance fee, even if I have to play in the Jr.'s

Anyways, I'm the only 'Scaper in the family, but I might be able to bring a close friend, if it's okay with both the 'rents.

As for Jr. supervision, my friend is a qualified babysitter, if she could go, could she help? (I would voulenteer, but I'm not qualified...)

~Neko: Leaving, sadly. I hope to see you all around. =^-^=

Well, how old are you HS?
And how old is this girl,
If the Jr. peeps are all over like 12 then we probably won't even need supervision.
Its not like they are in a different room, its just so the supervisors can stop younger ones from cheating seeing as the rest of us will be playing as well.

In March... We will both be 15. (We are already, just her B-Day is close to then.)
I was thinking if there were younger kids, it was to keep the pieces safe. But, for ruling supervision, I'm not sure she'd be the best candidate. Niether would I, as we're both newer to the game, and kinda forgetful...
(Also, looking at the Jr. age group thing, 8 yr olds wouldn't really be a hazard around pieces...)

I've talked to my mum, she says that she'll think about it. A four hour drive there and back is a little much, but it might happen.

{* Oh, and Ketch, for making a map... balanced for how many players? I'm guessing two, but maybe a three or four person map?

Hi, Ketch. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your buddies again.

The drive is a bit far, so instead of bringing a scenario/terrain, I'd like to donate two (unopened) Heroscape blister packs (Snipers and Vipers, and the Taelord et. al) and a "The Boot" transparent dice tower (brand new). Let me know if you're good with that and/or if you need something.
Cheers!

I'm in for sure. And yes, I can set up a map or two, depending on the sizes.
Master Set, Thaelank Tundra, Volcarren Wasteland, Fortress of the Archkyrie so far.
