Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
Excited to see this one! A few early wording thoughts for you. One slightly more specific comment is the title of the first power almost seems like it is a quote and is missing an exclamation point.

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
One concern I slightly have is using Etrigan to kite early on. For example, take your full turn with Jason and then swap to Etrigan and you effectively have a move of 10 on whatever turn you use it. Plus, as an Investigator he gets all of those synergies also which means Multiple Man and Batman (Occult).
It does seem like it is more something you would want to use towards the end of a round in one of those armies however as that would let you get 2 full sets of attacks in, potentially one with a spell, and then, if the dice gods are in your favor, end the round unengaged and swap back for the bonding with whomever and then another Etrigan double turn. If this happens Jason's powers would be null and Etrigan would stay on the board, but if Jason was on the board and Etrigan were destroyed in this fashion you'd be stuck with just Jason; however, if Etrigan were undestroyed and on Jason's card and Jason was destroyed while on the battlefield Etrigan would be trapped in whatever dimension he waits in unless there were some way to summon him aside from Jason of which I can currently think of nothing. Although if the reverse occured and Etrigan were destroyed while Jason was undestroyed and not on the battlefield he would be stuck in Etrigan's dimension. |

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
Should the double turn be tied to an Order Marker reveal here? I'd have to look at the power text here side-by-side with Occult Investigations to figure out exactly how that works. I don't *think* you can use it when you activate Jason with Occult Investigations since that ability shuts off other turns in its text.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
Yes, that is true (for both examples above) but it could still allow you to Kite him up with one of the older unrestricted bonders. Though you can still put your 3 on him with Batman and choose which way to go also and that might actually be the best play as you could attack Batman (less likely to wound him) and have him vanish and then Kite up with Etrigan only to have Jason and Batman both reappear at the end of the round.

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
With 4 life, 3 defense, I'm not sure Jason is sturdy enough to want to keep him on the battlefield over Etrigan too long, though.

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
MD helps him, tbf.
What if, instead of getting a whole turn, Etrigan got an out-of-turn attack? That would make him work a bit better with OM managers, but it would also limit kiting concerns. I also dig the theme there, Etrigan is summoned and isn’t immediately leaping around, but he does have time to swipe/blast someone near Jason. |

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
That sounds like it could work. Should it be an out of turn attack or just a turn where he cannot move? Which is the least problematic I guess?
Regardless, the Etrigan turn will definitely be strong. Also, @Karat it is the end of the classic poem/rhyme to switch between Jason Blood and Etrigan. Can definitely add the "!" to the end of it. |

CONSISTENCY CHECKLIST (SHORT FORM)
Spoiler Alert!
Caught something while going through here. In the case of taking control of Jason, does that allow the opponent to take a turn with Etrigan as well? This comes up with figures that take control of other figures temporarily or permanently, as well as designs that clone humans like Jackal, and Arnim Zola. |

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
Hmm, that actually gets into some mirror match issues in general. Maybe we need to better specify that you're doing things with your Etrigan? In 2.0 this won't be an issue, as you'll only be able to activate figures on your team.

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
ARISE THE DEMON ETRIGAN!
If you have a figure named Etrigan in your Army you must have it start the game on Jason's Army Card instead of on the battlefield. After taking a turn with Jason Blood you may replace his figure with an Etrigan on this Army Card. Take a turn with that Etrigan, during this turn Etrigan cannot move, and then take no additional turns with figures you control. If Etrigan is not engaged at the end of the round then replace his figure with Jason's. If Jason or Etrigan leaves your control this power cannot be used until they return to your control. Attempt to add a limiting clause. Just turning the power off when he leaves your control and specifying which etrigan you take a turn with. |

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
Maybe have Etrigan start on his card instead and call out if you have Etrigan in your army. That way you are checking for control to switch figures. So something like:

Re: The Book of Jason Blood - Design
That seems like a way better streamline of the endstate!
