I play with solid as deep because you can't see the bottom. Sparkly water you can see the land underneath.

i was talking to creg at comic con and he said that they might be releasing the sparkley water tiles eventualy as eather deep or shallow water

2+2=fish, .99=1 and Richard is awsome!

I'd be willing to bet that the MAJORITY of players do not have both solid and sparkly water tiles in their collections.

Im in hawaii right now in a beach house, and the shallow water is lighter and deep water is darker.

We use the map for battletech as well and use different level water depths. Basically we stack water on top of each other, two in a stack is a depth 2, 1 is depth 1, 3 is a depth 3. I dont have both styles so I cant use the differentiation. I would go with sparkly as shallow and dark as deep.

I don't play that way but I do build that way. Usually my waterfalls/upper level pieces are sparkly and main water at level 0 is the solid.
