I ran some Hero and Squad tests with Stature today. She feels like a fit in the 150-170 range to me, I'm going to start her at 160 for the army tests.
@dok @Dysole @Sounwarp SG-1 @weebaer , any combos I should be on the lookout for? I figure she'll play well with Ms Marvel, and Star-Lord is always a good fit for a (currently) synergy-less hero.

Can't think of too much I can do with her that I can't just do with Giant Man. Worth noting that in a Martian Manhunter build she's one less person you need to worry about moving around.

I do think we will need to limit the amount of figures that can be carried by another figure in the future, but I dont see any concerns right now.

A team with Stature, Atom, Ragdoll, Kid Flash, Matrian manhunter, and a few others could get frustrating.

It is not broken by any means, but if there are several other heroes with similar abilities in the works, it can get out of hand.

Seriously, though, I think the length of that list kind of makes the point that we're past the point of concern on carried. While I've toyed with a "human whip" build that has a bunch of those figures, it's not really practical to play all of them at once. Adding another, new option in that vein just means another option. It doesn't mean that there's a new strongest build involving carried figures.

That said, be aware that carried is a very strong power because of the efficiency inherent in a free figure movement. So while I'm not concerned about adding a new carried figure, I'm noting that it does make Stature probably a little better than you'd otherwise expect.

EDIT: I should add that if Stature is coming in at 160 or so, that reduces my concern level further, because all the other "bonus move" figures we're talking about are 100 or less. So she's less of a throw-in figure.

Oh, I'm aware (to some degree, at least) of how strong free movement can be. Ragdoll and Kid Flash are two of my favorite filler heroes, both for the ability to tie down the opponent and for the chance to keep them with the rest of your army without an OM. I think Stature's higher stats will help her, both to stand out from the others and to balance her. Because her cost will come in higher, she won't work as well as a shield, but she'll be more worth a turn for her offensive capabilities. I'm also hopeful that the cost of an OM to return her to full size will make her trickier in OM efficiency builds. I'm starting her at 160, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that go up after some testing. If anyone has a suggested build with all of the tag-along figures in it though, I'd be happy to try it out!

Crazy dice in this one. Spider-Man took a couple early wounds after a missed roll, Patriot took some in the early second round, then the shield kicked in and Ragdoll defended a bunch of attacks, keeping the Avengers tired down while his allies got into position. Spidey pulled Ms Marvel out, and she went down in two attacks, but then Stature put the wounds on a whiffing Iron Fist. By the end of the third round, Stature was the only Avenger remaining, and she couldn't handle Spidey and Cage both.

The Avengers really should have had this one, but Spidey was just too tough in endgame. He won Initiative for the last four rounds, attacked well and only failed his Senses roll once.

The Avengers had a huge early turn when Patriot hit Luke Cage (who already had a wound) for the wounds on the first turn off the second round, he then activated Ms Marvel, who took a risk moving in, but managed the final wound on Cage, destroying Army Two's round. Fist hung on for another couple rounds, but he wasn't able to do much before going down. The Avengers didn't win Initiative after the first two rounds, and Patriot sat at 4 wounds for a while, so most of the OMs were going to Stature. She did okay, but the leak of extra activations hurt the team, and Spidey was able to level the playing field.

Man, was this a hard fought game. Robot carried Doctor Light onto the center height, where he could screw with the opposing army while Robot moved Bizarro and Star-Lord into position. War Machine put a couple wounds on Bizarro with his Chain Gun early, and then sacrificed himself to tie down Robot and DL so that Stature and Cap could get Doctor Light out of the way.

By the time DL was down, so was War Machine, Hawkeye, and Red Arrow. Cap beat up Quill, and Bizarro before he died to the Lava Field and Bizarro. Stature came in then, finished off Bizarro and Star-Lord, but struggled against Robot. They ended the fifth round each with a Life left, thanks to Lava Field. Stature won Initiative and the game.

GENERAL THOUGHTS: I really like the way she’s turned out. She switches sizes, but big is usually best, and she’ll make a nice heavy hitter for the Young Avengers. Even without synergy from the other YAs, she’ll see plenty of play, as Carried really does help her fit into a lot of armies. Gigantic Reach and Tiny Stealth didn’t see a lot of play in these three games, but that was often due to the armies she was facing more than anything. Even with a couple losses, I feel comfortable moving forward at 160, and wouldn’t even be surprised if her cost came up slightly.

Seems pretty even so far. 160 seems like a fair place to begin with, keeping in mind Carried for a possible bump.

I just picked an Atomica figure. It may work for the tiny Stature.
