Table of Giants: The Long Wait Scenerio
The Long Wait
After taking heavy losses (in the Clashing Fronts), one army is victorious. However, news of a more powerful enemy rapidly approaching makes the survivors wary. Rather than moving on and engaging them in the open plains, the surviving army remains camped on the Table of Giants, taking advantage of the terrain's defensive advantage. Now the long wait for reinforcements begins.Summary:

Re: Table of Giants: The Long Wait Scenerio
Rules, please? It sounds like an interesting scenario, but I don't quite know what happens in it.
EDIT: I thought the title was just underlined. Didn't think it was a link. Last edited by Kaiser Cat; May 23rd, 2010 at 09:52 AM. |

Re: Table of Giants: The Long Wait Scenerio
Sounds like fun. I want to try it out.
Edit. It would probably work on any map with good hight advantage in the middle. "Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun." - Ash, Army of darkness |

Re: Table of Giants: The Long Wait Scenerio
Player 1 needs some hard-hitting troops to take out Player 2 ASAP. Maybe something like:
Braxas 210 Nilfheim 395 Cyprien 150 Sonya 195 Marro Drones? x4 395 VW 120 VV x7 400 Hydra x2 240 Sonlen/Major Q10 + Isamu 400 There's always the classic: 10th x4 300 Marcus 400 For Player 2, I'd want something with a little staying power. Maybe something like: Major Q9 180 Raelin/Kelda?/Rats x2 260 (I'd probably go with the Rats) KMA 100 Raelin 180 Rats x2 260 Charos 210 Marro Warriors 260 Dividers x5 250 Isamu 260 As far as reinforcements go, I'd probably just counter whatever Player 1's army had left. |

Re: Table of Giants: The Long Wait Scenerio
As the attacker, I would bring any kind of ranged squad of 4, really the 10th would be good for this. The 4th would also fit the bill. This is because in a time battle, you need as many attacks to produce the most casulaties as quickly as possible. For the defender, sitting the hill with x3 squads of 4th Mass and Guilty to go out first and stall, you would find it pretty easy to win in my opinioni.

Re: Table of Giants: The Long Wait Scenerio
Rats, and Isamu for player 2. It would be the most annoying thing to try and get rid of. Gorillas would be good too, get them on hight with tough plus good range they would be difficult to get rid of.
