Edit: also, he emphasized that they are prioritizing accessibility, they want people to be able to get into the game

Edit2: he also would not say when we should expect to be able to give them money for these products; not even a "closer to 3 months or closer to 18 months" type of answer

Edit3: He also said "the story has progressed and the world has changed." Make of that what you will. It was in reference to generals/factions.

Which other thread? It really would be good to create a central place for information about New Scape. For example, I've only seen one picture so far, but you speak of several.

Having supported both Heroquest and Risk:Shadow Forces through HasLab, I think the platform would work great for our beloved favorite game should they choose to go that route.

I am just going to throw this out there, for a worst case scenario, to Craig Van Ness and his group. If for any reason there should be a funding issue, I can 100% guarantee this community would be willing to back any type of Start UP to push this through. Not that I thinking there will be an issues, just putting this out as a reminder.

Craig! Congratulations on reviving the best game ever!!!!

Unpainted minis are one thing, but I REALLY want to know:
is this still going to be the battle of all time???

That concerns me more! The pictures from GenCon don't excite me the way that Rise of the Valkyrie box did way back when. Are there going to be iconic not-heroes the way Syvarris was not-Legolas and the Krav Maga were not-Matrix? Are there going to be historical units? That was the real magic of HeroScape for me, and I find it incredibly impressive how C3V has managed to keep the three pillars of HeroScapeGenres (Fantasy, Scifi and History) going and even expand on it to include more (like horror), even though they only work with a limited selection of painted miniatures from other games.

The dragon looks amazing! I don't know if some of the other miniatures would make the cut at SoV or C3V - they have been leery of humanoid medium fantasy heroes.

And will there still be squads?
