Bio - The Foot Clan was founded in Feudal Japan and grew to become the most feared clan of warriors and assassins in Japan. They practice ninjutsu and black magic, and are now powerful global organized crime ring active in multiple illegal activities such as; drug smuggling, money counterfeiting, gunrunning, assassination, computer hacking, theft, and terrorism. They are led by the Shredder and have become increasingly active in New York City, where 4 Turtles have stood in the way of their plans. (wiki)

I would make the last sentence past tense as in the current comics, they are now led by Splinter.

Maybe change that "where four Turtles..." to "until four Turtles..."? More strongly implies a termination to the "became increasingly active" wording.
