Re: The Book of Quahon
Am I right in thinking that the same figure can be targeted with the First Target and the 3rd Target?
Have you tried Hexscape? 3D Heroscape Multiplayer Battle program! Looking for a C3V/SOV miniature? Try one of these sites. |

Re: The Book of Quahon
Nope. You're choosing a third figure.

Re: The Book of Quahon
My first thought when I saw this guy was, "Oh... looks like Niflheim with a slightly worse defensive spread..." But after playing with this guy I see how wrong I was:
Lightning Breath doesn't have the engagement problems that Ice Shard Breath does. That's pretty huge. Quahon definitely has his own identity because of the versatility of that attack (and because he likes to rock the Fyorlags). Handle origin: I used to film comedy skits with my friends. I didn't want any cursing in them, so I made up new insults, like "dendrik". Then Sir Denrick came out, and the rest is history. |

Re: The Book of Quahon
My apologies, Ms. Quahon. Definitely less disturbing than the fact that Wo-Sa-Ga is a female marro.

Re: The Book of Quahon
A note on mounting this figure on a base:
The figure is very well-balanced (she can stand on two feet without tipping over) and can be placed anywhere on the peanut. The key is to place her so that the tail rides mostly between her space and the space behind her on her right. If you simply center her feet on each side of the peanut, then her tail creates serious denial issues. However, if you shift her so that she is on the front edge of the peanut, and rotate her a bit counterclockwise (looking from the top down) so that her left foot is closer to the end of the peanut than her right foot, the tail is between the spaces, and small/medium figures can fit all around her. Some large/huge figures will still have trouble fitting next to her at certain angles, but that's true of plenty of the big dragons. |

Re: The Book of Quahon
Here's some photos of my process of putting Q on a base.
First I played around with it on the base a bit to get things where I wanted them. I ended up with her leaning forward a bit on her right foot, so I am holding it down here to get her into the position I want:
Spoiler Alert!
After I played around with it, I did a quick trace with a fine-tip sharpie so I wouldn't have to futz around to find the right spot once I had glue on her feet.
Spoiler Alert!
After I applied some glue (not very much) to her feet, I got them in place and then clamped her down.
Spoiler Alert!
I ended up hanging the left foot off the edge much more than I had suggested earlier. This is so the left wing doesn't deny the larger medium figures from being in the space to Quahon's left. Here she is surrounded by Sentinels of Jandar:
Spoiler Alert!
Here's one more look at the foot position:
