Re: The Book of Cyborg (Vic Stone) (II)(Vote Public Playtest
I believe we're currently in Playtesting. I'd update the SP and just make sure it's known that that's the version you want to move forward with for testing.

It would have actually helped the Liz Sherman builds that I ran, as it would have given them an extra turn in the first round, and prevented the opponent from attacking Liz in one of the games. SO it definitely worries me a little bit. Re: The Book of Cyborg (Vic Stone) (II)(Public Playtesting)
If we can currently get Liz there sooner than the end of the first round, why would Cyborg be a problem here? I guess I'm at a bit of a loss. It feels like we're trying to prevent something that can already be done more effectively with other units that currently exist in Fate and Indigo for examples.

Re: The Book of Cyborg (Vic Stone) (II)(Public Playtesting)
Fate doesn't jump the start zone more effectively. He does it more quickly, but he uses up one of your turns doing it and he can only move one figure. If you're going up against an army that can't scramble itself inside one round, end-of-the-round Cyborg is way better.

Yeah, free teleport plus an Initiative boost gives you a great chance at not giving the opponent any opportunity to attack Liz and prevent her attack.
Also, free teleport is just really nice. ".... the Cambridge ladies do not care, above Cambridge if sometimes in its box of sky lavender and cornerless, the moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy" |

Hmmm...
Not really sure what to do here, other than I still like this approach: Quote:

Re: The Book of Cyborg (Vic Stone) (II)(Public Playtesting)
We really need to put the testing of this unit on hold if we can't decide how we want the boom tube to work. For the record I think this version is worth testing.
BOOM TUBE TRANSPORT When taking a turn with Cyborg, instead of attacking with Cyborg you may place a Glyph of Boom Tube power-side up on an empty space within 3 clear sight spaces of Cyborg. You may then remove up to 3 Justice League Markers from this card. For each marker removed, you may immediately chose 3 figures you control within 3 spaces of the placed Glyph of Boom Tube 3 spaces each. Cyborg may be one of the figures chosen. After the last figure chosen is finished moving, remove the Glyph of Boom from the battlefield. You are giving up his attack to place the Boom Tube, and giving up one JL marker for each figure that then uses that Boom Tube. You can choose to burn up all the JL markers right away if you want, but then you lose out on the initiative bonus and option for additional healing. |

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Correct, thanks for the fix.

That version works for me.
Make a choice LD and update the SP, then make sure to post in the Playtesting thread that he's available for testing. |

Still not convinced that it won't be too strong, but worth testing, I guess. ".... the Cambridge ladies do not care, above Cambridge if sometimes in its box of sky lavender and cornerless, the moon rattles like a fragment of angry candy" |

Re: The Book of Cyborg (Vic Stone) (II)(Public Playtesting)
Nice catch on that loophole. That would make it look like this:
BOOM TUBE TRANSPORT When taking a turn with Cyborg, instead of attacking with Cyborg you may place a Glyph of Boom Tube power-side up on an empty space within 3 clear sight spaces of Cyborg. You may then remove up to 3 Justice League Markers from this card. For each marker removed, you may immediately chose a figure you control within 3 spaces of the placed Glyph of Boom Tube 3 spaces each. Cyborg may be one of the figures chosen. At the end of the turn, remove the Glyph of Boom Tube from the battlefield. |
