I 100% can't tell the difference, so I'll trust the more visually oriented.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Of its balanced either way of go B since those boxes will already be out of play where as the other way may block a useable hex for someone to get close.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

My thought was that it was going to be oriented like B. But my personal proxy required it to be as per A. Having said that I believe A plays better as you don't have to waste a movement space to orient him to be facing the correct way.
