Re: The Book of Eradicator - Final Editing
I'm with A3N on this. If anything I think a simple question could be sent to the playtesters asking, "IF the OM restriction were removed from Eradicator's card would your assessment of his cost stand?" Again, like A3N, I certainly respect both Griff 's and Bat's opinions, but I can't justify them speaking for others here. So without this I will also have to Abstain.

yea, but we need to be careful not to have too many changes after playtesting unless we run additional tests.

Re: The Book of Eradicator - Final Editing
For sure. I think if we didn't have two heroes confident in this direction and if it weren't a relatively minor change, I wouldn't have supported it without further testing.
As is, though, the change would have made no difference on any of the tests that were done, since no one tested him with Hush or Red Skull. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

If I take temporary control of my opponent's Eradicator, I can move him within 3 spaces of my Kryptonian(s), put enough Wound Markers on his card to destroy him, then remove 1 Wound Marker from each of my Kryptonians (not that destroying my opponent's 280-point figure wouldn't be enough satisfaction). At least if I fly him into lava, he's got a chance to survive. Is this the intent? |

Re: The Book of Eradicator - Final Editing
hmm ... that might have been a reason to keep the Order Marker restriction on there ...

Re: The Book of Eradicator - Final Editing
Yep!!! That was why I had the Order Marker restriction. I put it on the playtest sheet even when I did the second army test.
- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any. One the second Army Test I realized that if this guy is mind controlled he can be forced to destroy himself with his own special attack. Puppet Master or anyone else taking away 280 points just like that is a bit too much, so I tied the placing of wounds on his card with the special attack to having to reveal an order on his card first. So that if he does hurt himself, it is always "HIS" intention under your control. |

Re: The Book of Eradicator - Final Editing
Agreed. Can we just revert back to the 270 points with the OM restriction?

Re: The Book of Eradicator - Final Editing
Well the proposal has passed. But I will put up a new one after we discuss things a bit.
Two testers agreed with 280, one tester agreed with 270, and one tester agreed with 300. IMO, (I was the Initial tester here), 270 is doable, but 280 felt more appropriate. I am not sure why we would logically go with Bats' suggested point cost, when he is alone in his estimation. The average from all 4 of our testers is 282.5 - something to think about anyways. |
