I guess I won't be going to Gencon

I looked at the dates for Gencon and I realized that they would interfere with my first few weeks of High School and I heard that it's harder to make up work, which could really affect my grade and possibly ruin my chances to get into college. I'm sorry I won't be able to join in on all the fun there.
