SHADOWLANDS PASSAGE
Instead of moving normally with Obsidian, if he is on a shadow space, you may place him on any same-level shadow space within 10 spaces.

Good call. So this:

SHADOWLANDS PASSAGE

Yeah, I think I like that.

The dude can fly and has a regular move of 6. This is instead of his normal move. I think anything less than 10 would make the power close to pointless.

I suppose... I sort of feel like a potential 13-space threat range might be a bit much. Though that is the same as Green Lantern. I dunno, maybe I'm too cautious.

What do you think about expanding it?

SHADOWLANDS PASSAGE
Start the game with 4 shadow tiles on this card. Before taking a turn with Obsidian, if he is on an empty land space, you may place a shadow tile from his Army Card onto the space he occupies if the shadow tile fits normally onto that space. Instead of moving normally with Obsidian, if he is on a shadow space, you may place him on any shadow space within 10 spaces.

Well he'd be restricted to using that 13-space threat range based on where shadow spaces were. If you don't want him to ambush you, just keep four or more spaces away from shadow tiles.

I could work with that. Maybe 3 instead of 4, though, just to limit it a bit, and to limit the amount of necessary hardware.
