Character Bio - Bomb Queen was originally part of a quartet of supervillains called The Four Queens, who reigned over New Port City. When all the super-heroes in town were finally defeated or slain, the Queens turned on each other. Bomb Queen emerged as the victor, and took control over the local government. Bomb Queen founded New Port City's "No Heroes" law, (outlawing superheroes) which made the town a magnet for criminals across America. This pleased politicians in Washington, D.C., due to the lowered crime rates in other states. However, the government was not happy with the self-elected leadership of Bomb Queen. Various smear campaigns having failed to dent her immense public popularity, the government turned to other options. Sending hero after hero to unsuccessfully challenge Bomb Queen, she eventually goes on the offensive, targeting big name heroes such as Invincible, Spawn, Savage Dragon, Dynamo 5, and Shadowhawk, just to prove that she’s not someone to be trifled with.

Choose a figure to attack. Any figures adjacent to the chosen figure are also affected by this special attack. Bomb Queen only needs a clear sight shot at the chosen figure. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. Destructible objects roll 1 fewer defense die against this special attack. Bomb Queen cannot be affected by this special attack. When Bomb Queen attacks with this special attack, she may attack one additional time.

DEMORALIZING SADISM
When attacking or defending against Bomb Queen, figures roll one fewer die if Bomb Queen has destroyed one or more of her friendly figures this round.

ROCKET JUMP
Instead of moving and attacking with Bomb Queen, roll an unblockable attack die against all figures adjacent to her, then you may move Bomb Queen up to 6 spaces. When moving with Rocket Jump, Bomb Queen has the Flying special power and will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

The mod for the mini is simply a headswap. I used a Quake figure, but any head with a similar hairstyle and face would be fine. After that you just have to repaint. A black under-outfit, and then I used a dark gray for her armor, boots, and gauntlets. The pouches can be any color, I like the splash of yellow for those. Add skin wherever it feels appropriate, you can use my pictures for reference!



The finishing touches are adding a bomb symbol! I used a blue/silver, and painted it around her cleavage as a chest insignia, and then I painted the circles on her gauntlets with the same color and added the top to the bombs there, too.

Looks solid. Sadistic Streak seems a little iffy thematically but I like the gameplay interactions there.

I actually meant to change that to when she destroys a friendly figure, to encourage running her with civilians, whoops.

And it’s thematic to the story. She’ll blow up her own citizens or use them as human shields just to horrify heroes and get an upper edge.

Cool. Movement powers suck! Always good with trimming those if allowed

Neat power set. You definitely "inflict" wounds rather than "dealing" them.

It's close, but it fits at a 6.0pt font.

I would also swap the powers so Rocket Jump is last.

I still like Sadistic Streak as the name, but there were some others who didn't. So I'm not too fussed over the name.

Any other thoughts on the power set here? If not I'll hit checklists in a bit and move to Initial.
