We can probably drop the opponents' part now that you can choose up to 9 figures.

INANIMATE OBJECT CONTROL 9
Instead of attacking, you may choose a destructible object or obstacle that is within 5 spaces of Selene and then choose up to 9 opponents' figures on or within 2 spaces of the chosen destructible object or obstacle. Roll the 20-sided die for each figure. If you roll 9 or higher, that figure receives a wound.

I'd do this:

I don't think "other" is required at all.

I was going to add "once" in my original suggestion but to me adding the "once" made it sound like you only roll the d20 once and all figures are judged on that single roll. I know the word "each" is supposed to clarify that but when reading it, it isn't instantly clear that way.
