|
waterless maps?
anyone ever built a map with all available terrain but water? Me and a buddy of mine did yesterday, not even realizing it, and it looks pretty bad ass

yeah, me and chris liked it too. surprisingly, it only too about 30 minutes to build from imagination.
he had to go do something, so i began the base of the field with the lava in the middle. then i started to build out on the side that has taelord/samurai/samurai on it (my side) and he started the other side (his side). we had to modify it slightly to where we could both agree, and that was the end result.

the dice tower was hand made by a friends dad who works with acrylic. we were/are selling them at HQ for $15. That one is the original prototype. the new one has a longer spout, a bigger hole at the top, an additional shelf, and is collapsible for storage/travel. PM me or player_of_football (i would probably be better because he's isnt as active as i am) if you would like to purchase some. He has pictures on some website, but the links were most likely lost with the server change on HQ, so idk where they are located.
I love the idea of waterless maps, and challenge you guys to make one or more. just for fun!

thx for your offer! But i think shipping to germany would be waaay to expensive  And i already made one myself : The base is a cutted cd-box and i added some white felt, cause rolling on acryl only is pretty loud, but thatīs just me. The map also looks cool, but not because it has no watertiles. Adding water would make any good map an even better one imo. Chicano.
