Ok, ok. What if your paraded your temporaryly controlled Marcu back and forth in front of a third person's figures! You could conceivable cause him to receive 21 passing swipes using his 7 space movement.

I just noticed (sorry if it's already been talked about) that Life Drain seems to be an optional power--it says "may." I take it to mean, then, that if your opponent destroys a figure with your Marcu, that you don't necessarily get a wound marker taken off?
Anyway...I'm feelin' like pie. |

that sounds like a correct interpretation to me.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

That makes him slightly not as cool, if so.
As I think about it though, it could go either way. Even when your opponent controls him, it's still Marcu destroying a figure, and "you" may remove the wound marker. Hmm.... Anyway...I'm feelin' like pie. |

So...If Marcu is next to his ally and he is turned over to someone else's control. He becomes an enemy and is subject to a disengagement attack. Is that right?

That's right, but it's important to remember that taking a disengagement swipe is optional so his allies would likely refrain from attacking Marcu, as it would not serve their purposes to kill their buddy.

WOW this guy gets alot of attention now doesn't he. lol
Here is my humble opinion on the subject of his "eternal hatred" Lava, cliff, samurai, charos, run away, run through 3rd party engagements, or attack someone. The latter is probably the most used strategy because of marcu's attack strength. While control is given to the oppenent I would have to agree that it is up to the controling party's discretion as to whether or not Marcu can use his life drain ability (if he does than you may want to considered playing a different game because it would be apparent that that player is unsure about how to win at this game) Using Marcu with a dumeteff guard is a great "cheap" team. Throw in Ornak, cyprien, and sonya and you got yourself a pretty good army as long as the robots stay off the board. I would like to go on record saying that "life drain" should have excluded soulborgs unless of course they soulborgs are not really robots but rather living creatures enhanced by mechanical parts. (DW8K - unlikely) |
