I would like to request to LD a Glyph of Utility.

The heroes have discussed this glyph and voted. I have some good news for you and some bad news.

Bad news first, the general idea of having a Bulletproof Vest be an Utility Glyph that you can hand off to others or stolen off them by a thief has been rejected as a theme break for several heroes. Utility Glyphs are intended to be more hand held items in nature, something you could stow on a belt or quickly pass off to another person. Full disclosure here, the specific mechanics on this glyph idea were also raising competitive concerns, being able to hand this glyph off to someone like Nightwing (who has 1 shield defense already) at the start of the game throws up some red flags. So all public members should keep that in mind when contemplating new glyph ideas, how do they stack when passes to someone they were not initially intended for. Our suggestion here would be to give Night Thrasher the Bulletproof Suit power off of Batwoman, or a lesser version since he only has a vest (just ignore 1 skull non-adj. att.s?).

Now to the good news, we made a ruling on glyphs and spells last fall related to LD thread cost that I don't think we ever announced publicly. When an LD is making a new character card with an new glyph or spell associated with that character, the first glyph or spell is done at the same time free of charge. So we'd really love to see you start up the Night Thrasher thread, figure out how that design all comes together in the end, and you'll get to also make one glyph for him for free! Usually the LD will run both at the same time in the one character card thread, then spin out the separate official glyph LD either at the end or right before public testing starts up. They still need to get tested separately, but designing them hand in hand often results in a much better design overall.

Okay, that's completely understandable. Thank you for explaining the situation. I will make some adjustments to Night Thrasher so that I can fit a "Bulletproof vest" SP on him.

Would this be an acceptable Utility Glyph to start with?

Glyph of Utility: Pepper Spray
When this figure attacks with a normal attack, you may change the Range number on its Army Card to 2 and the Attack number on its Army Card to 2. After attacking normally with this Equipment Glyph, if at least 1 skull was rolled remove 1 Order Marker at random from the target figures army card.

Thematically I'd think Pepper Spray would stop a figure from having clear sight on non-adjacent figures. I'd worry about that level of nearly automatic Order Marker removal. I'd think you'd want at least a once per round restriction if you went in that direction.

Stopping a figure from having clear sight on non-adjacent figures sounds good. I would have to use a marker of some sort to represent the pepper spray, almost like the bolas.

Pepper Spray fits the theme of utility glyphs for me. I like the no LOS concept as far as mechanics, seems like they are nearly blinded which seems on theme. T's Lord of the Flies spell is doing something similar where it reduces range, could look and see how that works for wording ideas.
