Where is Wave 9 to be released? (DELETE PLEASE)

Just to touch on what Gary said;

1. Wave 9 was announced way after Toy Fair. So what you say? Well the WM buyers did not have a chance to review it and buy it. Therefore it's not on their schedule aka Plan-o-gram in the retail business.
2. You're in the middle of the summer movie tie ins. What ever free space they, local stores, might have had is taken up.
3. The next shelf reset will not happen until Late October for the Xmas season season.
4. WotC needs the cash infusion NOW so they are hoping for strong online sales and they are shipping it to any FLGS store that carries any WotC product.

Funny that you should mention the plan-o-grams because at my Target, my toy`s specialist is reseting almost everything in August. I have yet to see the Sales Planner, but I have access to it. So with a bit of luck and magic we might get the new Wave 9.

Funny that you should mention the plan-o-grams because at my Target, my toy`s specialist is reseting almost everything in August. I have yet to see the Sales Planner, but I have access to it. So with a bit of luck and magic we might get the new Wave 9.

I'm praying like anything that the new wave will come in stock again. At my Target I was told that The plam-o-gram will be resetted on August 2. From what I saw about 75% of our toys is being resetted. What comes in is based on popularity, but I can tell for a fact that so far the second wave of Transformers, and many Lego products arw hitting the shelves. But just in case that Herocape and the new wave isn't comming in, I'm forwarding a site that we will be able to buy them if push comes to shove. I appalogize, I didn't see your post before hand. I'm using my DSi as my form of communication and sometimes I dosn't show me all the info on a page. But thanks for telling me. Now I do believe it's time to rebel and fight till I get what I want.

Yes! I scored two Wave 9 expansions at The Mystical Keep in Hagerstown, MD; all they had. I don't think they're getting anymore anytime soon. The owner, without removing the cigarette dangling from his lower lip, said, "I only get a little of the new shtuff and when it's gone it's gone." They had one more expansion from Wave 8 but my vision was to blurry to tell you what it was. (Groks, I think.) Two more expansions and once again I'll have it all! (Except for the GenCon exclusives. Anybody who has extras they'd be willing to donate, please PM me. Please? Anybody?)

One of the two Wal-Marts in my area had Wave 9 in stock. The other Wal-Mart had only wave 8. This is good news since both of these stores only had the Marvel Heroscape set for $28 a few months ago. Neither of the local FLAGS carry any Heroscape at all.

Triumph! I just got the rest of Wave 9 at the Walmart in Hagerstown, MD. My collection is complete... for now. (Except for the GenCon exclusives. Anybody got extras they'd be willing to just give to a poor guy in Maryland with a wife and 3 kids to feed? Anybody?... Anybody?)
