Life Of A Gladiator (Story)
This scenario is for a story format, i have rules on this post: The rules are not fully formatted yet, i still need to go back and review things.
Rules: http://www.heroscapers.com/community...ad.php?t=31954 Story Package: When i finish the story, i will update the link (This will contain a copy of this guide and all of the maps you need in one package/file) This story takes the viewpoint of a person who is captured and taken in as a slave, in time this person will become a gladiator in the arena. What will happen, who will he/she meet, and what horrors does this arena hold? Life Of A Gladiator Starting The Story To begin the story you will need to know a few special rules and how to set up your hero. *Setup a hero like normal (use the rules to find out how) *Remember to allocate your first 10 stat points *Create a 300 point Party (This is your army) *Start with 1 Silver (= 100) *Start Part 1 and follow the story flow Hero refers to your heroes name Prologue The story opens in a small village inhabited by a bunch of poor farmers, locals, and the small army that defends the place with its life. Inside the army is a person wielding his weapon of choice, this person is one of the finest in the army. Village Streets Captain: One of these days we will get this village back together... needs more flavor, more texture. Soldier 1: Don't worry about it sir, i am sure we will pull ourselves back together one day. We are fine already, look at our market it works does it not? Hero: The air is not right today... Captain: *chuckles* Hero you always say something like that, cheer up lad. Hero: It is different today, something is not right. Soldier 1: The only thing i can see that is not right is you! Soldier 1/Captain: *Both chuckle* Captain: Cheer up Hero *Pats Heroes back*. Everything will be alright, remember i got you all covered if anything were to happen. Hero: *sigh* Goodbye Captain, i am going home. Captain: Have a good one Hero, remember you always have someone you can trust. Hero: Thanks Captain *All go their seperate paths* -Select one of the following to visit- Item Shop Potion - 10 (Max:5) Restores 1 life to you or an adjacent figure (10) Mobility Stone - 15 (Max:3) Adds 2 move to your hero for the rest of your turn Recruit Center You may purchase up to 80 Points worth of party members 1 point costs 1 money (1 copper) Part 1 *Village Bell Rings heavily* Soldier: Attack! We are being attacked! *People in the streets run to cover *Soldiers in the army prepare *Hero leaves his house and joins the army Captain: We are surrounded! get the locals to safety! Soldier: Yes sir! *Runs off* Hero: What happened!? Captain: We never saw it coming... the Randois are attacking, they will take you as slave for their petty arena or kill you right where you stand. Hero draw your weapon.... today we fight a battle we will not win. Hero: Yes sir... *Breathes slowly* *Draws weapon* Battle Of Nomad Village Map: Nomad Village Rounds: 12 You may place your entire party on any of the blue spaces. Your opponent represents the Randois army and drafts 1,000 points and places their figures on the red starting zones. Victory: *You have won the battle if you destroy all of your opponents figures or survive until the end of round 12 (Ending 1) *You lose the battle if all of your figures are destroyed or if your hero is destroyed (Ending 2) *You may choose to surrender at the beginning of any round after round 2. You also surrender if one of your opponents figures reaches the glyph of brandar. Your figures may move onto the glyph of brandar. (Go to Part 2) Ending 1 *Men screaming and fighting in the middle of battle* An arrow comes whistling your way, just before it hits Captain jumps in front and is shot in the heart. Hero: Captain! Captain: We will win this Hero, i said i would be there for you. ....I put you in charge of the village, take good care of it. I always knew you had it in you, good job Hero. Hero: *Sheathes his weapon* Goodbye Captain. *The fight is over with the Nomads winning, their names will forever be recorded in Valhalla history* Ending Score: 1,500 points Ending 2 *Hero quarrels with a soldier and is cut at an open area pulling him down to his knees* Hero: No, it can't end this way! Enemy Soldier: Yes it can, and it will. Sorry soldier. *Enemy soldier kills Hero* *As Hero draws his last breathe he faintly watches as his home burns and his people die* Ending Score: 150 Points If You surrender or the enemy gets to the glyph of brandar: Battle Rewards 2 stat points 50 Copper 50 Experience *You lose your entire Party *As you are dragged away you can see your village fall, you look at your village one last time until you are clubbed over the head knockng you out* To be continued.... Please stop making separate threads for all of your scenarios. That's not how you're supposed to do things.
