The newest DC animated movie, Man of Tomorrow, is up for free for DC FanDome. Probably only for a day or two? Haven't watched it yet (since it's the world premiere and all), but the comic it's based on, American Alien, is very good.

Also, this is a few days old but I forgot to bring it up here, Comixology has literally every Black Panther comic on their service free to own. That's almost ever comic he's ever starred in, just missing the earlier Jungle Action books which were never made available digitally.

What I was foretold after buying the Kong figure, my first purely C3G purchase.
After being limited to proxying with the original 10 Hasbro sculpts, or playing on Tabletop Simulator, I invested in a huge dump of some key figures to get.









More groups than that, but I don't want to overload the page.

Does anyone not rebase their figs? I'm going to have a hard time cutting into these.

Anyone have any favorite alternate sculpts they use? I'm a big fan of the original x-men costumes, so I picked up a set of them.

Grabbed a Heinrich Zemo (#045 - Captain America and the Avengers) because the official mini is Helmut. I don't think he was available at the time of that unit's creation, and read that the Heinrich's that were out at the time were less useful than the chosen mini.

Maybe the same situation for Armor Wars 088 Iron Man for MKII and Age of Ultron 017 for MKI.

Snagged Beyonder as well.

For fun I also bought an awesome Odin on the throne, which you can see way back inside the castle in the second pic.

Hoping I can nag some friends into playing sometime soon.
If anyone knows a reliable place to order quality card prints, I'm interested!

There's also a Stealth Iron Man that came out after C3G used a repaint, on top of some of the ones you listed.

I use the old Heinrich mini with him on a castle. I also tend to use the gray costume for Angel. Think it's from Excalibur or something? Mini might actually be called Archangel.

Songbird has a couple mini options that are cooler than the one on the card. (I'm very partial to the Civil War one)

Awesome collection! You really splurged on the big guys, they are a lot of fun.

I typically get the cheapest mini for a character as long as it isn't ugly (I recently upgraded my Fan4 and Thor minis as the ones I had were particularly hideous). Haven't rebased, though I pry the bottom part of the clix base off so they fit in ladders.

Thanks everyone! I'll never admit how long I spent coordinating my carts between CoolStuff, Troll/Toad and Ebay, but you should all be proud that you created something so interesting that it compels a person to do so.

Thanks for those tips @Ronin , I hadn't even thought about checking to look if there were official Stealth Suits. Looks like there's 2 different comic versions and 1 film version. Reminds me, I can't wait for a Silver Centurion design!

And @IAmBatman , thanks for the suggestion! I battle the 'Scape purist in me, but those poker cards do look snazzy, and just the thought of cutting out all those hex shaped cards is already wearying. The poker cards would probably would save on ink too.

And I'm for sure going to use that base idea @Arch-vile . I like the Fan 4 minis chosen, but I'm partial to the classic costumes, especially Thing in shorts. Which Thor do you use?
I also felt I needed to grab the big guys, because when playing against myself, it helps reduce the possibility of me "cheating" against myself if at least one army reliably has all order markers on 1 card. And its also easier to teach someone if they don't have to think so much about their order marker placement.

I was surprised the chosen Wolverine mini wasn't Yellow/Blue or Brown. Maybe for another design? The shirt and shorts look is probably the most universal though, since he's such a loner.

I don't really know about Warpath as a character, but I assume his real time in the limelight was during his X-Force run?

I prefer Xavier in a wheelchair, but I wanted to grab a second Hover Chair version just to match the Jim Lee costumes on the original 5 members. I could see there being a second design using it in the future, so I decided to wait just in case.

New vs Old Thor in the spoiler. The minis used for Thor & the Fan4 cards are great, but my first ones were different versions. I use the comic cards so I'm no stickler about matching minis. Gotta have that yellow/blue Wolverine!
