Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
Thanks, I like what you have here. I did like the extra “X” power though, wonder if you couldn’t tie that in here. Last thought I had was for his Tactician Power: I really feel that the massive amount of time he has spent training in and out of the Danger Room as well as in combat requires a bit more than move or attack bonding. What about allowing turns where figures halved move, but could still attack? Feels very “coordinated battle maneuvers” to me. Just some thoughts. I hesitate to vote Yea because I think he could be improved. But I won’t be upset enough to complain if he goes to testing as is.

So I’ve thought it over and I’ll give my Yea with this caveat, please read over and seriously consider some of the comments I made.

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
I think that, in practice, the bonding he currently has can potentially be stronger than what Professor X offers much of the time. I'd be worried about making it so good that he easily supplants Prof X as default Mutant faction hub.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
I would agree with Bats. What he offers is decent and can trump Professor X in some regards, I’d hate to see him become the ultimate leader. I look at him as either a backup for Professor X or a nice solo leader alternative.
This passes. |

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
Unless it's really large point games (2,000+) I see them as either/or. But I like that it'll encourage diversity of builds.

With the large number of Mutants in our stables...encouraging diversity is always a plus. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
I'd be against anything that risks supplanting Xavier as the main Mutant leader - Xavier's a strong figure already, it reeks of power creep and removes the purpose of an iconic character. I think Cyclops is fine as is.

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
Scott's a better leader than Chuck in the comics, so I wouldn't be overly worried about that possibility being reflected in the game. Also, Sage is still the number one Mutant leader in C3G, and dethroning her to give the mantle back to a more iconic X-Leader wouldn't be all bad.
I think the design is solid as-is, though. |

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
At that stage, though, what exactly would Xavier's purpose be, particularly given how iconic he is. Plus, his Mutant synergy is already strong - I'd question how much of a better leader you could be without moving horribly into power creep and brokenness.

This powerset isn't moving into power creep or brokenness though. I think Arkham has done a great job on it.

Re: The Book of Cyclops (Scott Summers) (II) (Vote for Initi
What if only one of the two chosen figures could attack? That would limit him, plus it would feel kind of strategic; attacking while getting more of your guys into the right position.
