Damage Dealt: R3T3 Spider-Man 1 wound - SA

Bounty Hunter: Wulf picked Luke Cage but didn't get an attack in on him. Lots of good attacking options on his team so I chose to keep him close to Johnny.

Blood Debt: Moved around quite a bit with Johnny Alpha being targeted so much. Wulf took 3 wounds for Johnny. Very helpful power.

Happy Stick: Used once, doing a wound on Spider-Man.

Wulf picks Johnny Alpha for his Blood Debt. Jonah Hex picks Spider-Man as his Bounty, Durham Red picks Songbird as her Bounty. Plunder picks Daredevil, Two Gun picks Ronin and Wulf picks Luke Cage.
R1 - Movement. Johnny Alpha attacks Ronin doing a quick 3 wounds. Two Gun attacks Ronin twice but both are blocked. Songbird attacks down on Johnny Alpha from range, Wulf moves because of Blood Debt, Johnny blocks the attack. Johnny attacks Ronin taking him out. Durham Red attacks Songbird twice doing 4 wounds. Cage's crew are in trouble after round 1!
R2 - Songbird attacks down on Wulf, who blocks it. Johnny Alpha takes out Songbird. Plunder attacks Spider-Man twice doing 1 wound. Daredevil attacks Johnny, which moves Wulf, Johnny blocks both attacks. Luke attacks down on Two Gun, doing 2 wounds. Johnny and Plunder attack Daredevil putting 3 wounds on him. Spider-Man webs Johnny and attacks, moving Wulf. Spider-Man blanks on the attack roll. Luke takes out Two-Gun Kid. Johnny attacks Spider-Man, who Swings away. Plunder takes out Daredevil. Terrible dice so far for the Crime Fighters.
R3 - Johnny attacks Cage for 1 wound. Jonah Hex attacks Cage who blocks it. Spider-Man webs Johnny and attacks him, which moves Wulf, Johnny blocks the attack. Luke attacks down on Durham Red who blocks the attack. Johnny attacks up on Spidey, who misses his d20, but blocks the attack. Hex attacks Cage doing a wound. Spider-Man attacks Johnny who reveals the X-marker to ignore the attack. Cage attacks Red who blocks the attack. Johnny attacks Spider-Man who Swings away. Wulf attacks Spider-Man with his Happy Stick doing 1 wound. Spider-Man attacks Johnny, moving Wulf, for 3 wounds. Wulf takes the wounds for Johnny. Cage attacks Red for a third time, and Red blocks it for a third time, rolling 3 shields on 4 dice.

Happy Stick: This game ended up being more of a ranged fight. Never got a chance to use it.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: 150 seems good here. Fits right in with Bounty Hunter builds.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Nice designed figure, who definitely plays a bodyguard role for a soft unit like Johnny Alpha. I found his low attack and defense a little challenging to put him in the middle of a fight so I kept him in close range of Johnny. The Bounty Hunters are pretty strong and better than I thought they were going to be. Most of the time I felt like I had better attack options in other Bounty Hunters, so Wulf tended to move mostly when Johnny was targeted. With that said, I didn't get a good spot in either game to use Happy Stick on multiple defenders. I think that was more situational, than power itself is fine. Maybe in one of the future playtests Wulf should face some squads? I will for sure use the Bounty Hunters again. Wulf's teams went 2-0, the 1st game was a massive blowout, and the 2nd game was a solid win. Neither of the games had to do with Wulf swinging the game one way or the other, but he did do his job as a wound soak for Johnny. Game one had some terrible roles for the Crime Fighters. Game two was more turn efficiency and Cap boost than anything else. No changes recommended.

- Give a brief overview. This was an intense game. At first it seemed like Thor was gonna take it but then the Minions and Ernie finished him and then it seemed like the Horde had it but then Durham and Wulf cleaned up them Minions and Hellstrom but they just couldn't handle Ernie too.

Warriors have initiative. In T1 Durham takes to the heights; Hellstrom flies up. In T2 Thor flies out; Ernie runs up. In T3 Thor flies in hitting Hellstrom for a wound (+1 Tree of Life) and Drops the Hammer having Wulf and Kenshi move up; and the Minions move up.

Horde Hellstrom has initiative. In T1 the minions move in; Durham moves up. In T2 Hellstrom casts a Fireball at Thor and when that fails Ignites him on fire for 3 wounds; Thor uses Mighty Mjolnir (3) to give Hellstrom a wound. In T3 the Minions strike Thor for a wound; Thor uses Mighty Mjolnir (19) to take out 4 Minons and appears in the enemy SZ and Drops the Hammer having Kenshi move up and take out a Minon and Wulf takes to the height.

Horde Hellstrom has initiative. In T1 the Minions advance; Durham moves up shooting Hellstrom for a wound. In T2 Ernie moves up and Smiley heals him; Durham shoots Hellstrom for another wound. In T3 Hellstrom flies up targeting Durham with a Fireball but Wulf steps in taking the 2 wounds and Hellstrom targets her again but Wulf steps in taking another wound from another Fireball but she still takes a wound from the burn damage; Kenshi drops back.

In T3 Ernie moves in towards the opposing Startzone; Wulf moves in using his Happy Stick to take out a Minion and fell a tree taking out the last Minion.

In T2 OM on Wulf; Ernie engages Spidey hitting him for 3 wounds and heals back to full strength! In T3 Spidey smashes Ernie with the Hammer but misses and Swings behind him but is blocked; Ernie finishes off Spidey.

In T2 Durham moves to slow his progress and keep him at height disadvantage longer; and Ernie climbs up into the water hitting Durham for 3 wounds. In T3 Durham gives Ernie a wound and heals and then 2 more wounds making him drop Smiley and she heals; Ernie trudges through the water not willing to give up his hard fought ground. Smiley seeks Ernie.

Horde Hellstrom has initiatiave. In T1 Ernie takes even height; Durham misses Ernie. In T2 Ernie smacks Durham for 4 wounds (whiff!); Durham misses Ernie. In T3 Ernie is blocked; Durham hits Ernie for a wound and heals a wound. Smiley finds Ernie.

Warriors have initiative. In T1 Durham misses Ernie; Ernie picks up Best Friend Smiley and finishes off Durham for the win and heals.

- Give a brief overview. This match started out absolutely brutal. The Bounty Hunters were tearing through the Atlanteans until Alpha fell. I made the mistake of letting Alpha get too far away of from Wulf so he couldn't protect him but I did some good use out of the Happy Stick.

Bounty Hunters have initiative. In T1 Vibe moves out; Hawkeye flies up with Aquaman and uses his Sky shot on the Tree off Death ineffectively to advance further with Aquaman. In T2 Vibe moves up blasting Hawkeye from height for a wound and knocking him away from Aquaman; Hawkeye flies up next to Aquaman targeting Vibe with his Sky Shot whichc Viber Blocks but Hawkeye still flies up with Aquaman dropping him into the water. In T3 Vibe engages Hawkeye giving him a wound and knocking him from height and then hits him for another wound making him slide 2 spaces further away; Aquaman steps onto land and hits Vibe from high ground for 3 wounds.

Atlanteans have initiative. In T1 Aquaman attempts to finish off Vibe but his Defense is Rythmic and he moves away; Vibe moves up next to Aquaman hitting himn for a wound and knocking him 2 spaces away to low ground and then misses him but knocks him another space away. In T2 Aquaman climbs up into the water and tries to finish Vibe but his defense is Rythmic and he moves back 2 spaces but Aquaman heals himself; Alpha moves up and misses but Durham moves and one shots Aquaman with some fancy shooting (4/4skulls+Auto vs whiff)! In T3 OM on Aquaman; Alpha moves up and calls up Wulf.

Atlanteancs have initiative. In T1 Hawkeye flies up using his Sky Shot to finish off Vibe earning himself some Detroit Style Justice and flies up blocking Durham's ascent; OM on Vibe. In T2 Tempest moves up causing the water to rise out of the road giving the Tree of Death a wound; Alpha moves up onto the water shooting Tempest for a wound and calls up Two Gun who flies up and guns down Hawkeye. In T3 Tempest moves up causing more water to rise in front of Johnny finishing off the Tree of Death; Alpha shoots Tempest for another wound and calls up Two Gun who runs down the road towards his quarry.

Atlanteans have initiative. In T1 Tempest moves up causing water to rise between Alpha and Two Gun wounding them both; Alpha moves up and Two Gun flies to height on Tempest finishing him off. In T2 OM on Tempest; Alpha climbs to height and calls up Hex. In T3 Mera moves up smashing a tree in her anger and her Guards move up with her; Alpha misses Mera and calls up Hex.

In T1 Alpha shoots Mera for 2 wounds and calls up Hex who shot Mera for a wound; Mera climbs into the water using her Aquakinesis to pull up a Guard and the other 3 Guards follow. In T2 Alpha employs some Fancy Shooting but can't hit Mera in her element surrounded by her guards and Hex moves up. In T3 Alpha uses some Fancy Shooting to finish off Mera and has Two Gun attack a Guard unsuccessfully; OM on Mera.

Atlanteans have initiative. In T1 the Guards reposition and Strike down Alpha and shoot Hex for 3 wounds; OM on Alpha. In T2 the Guards reposition and give Two Gun 2 wounds; OM on Alpha. In T3 the Guards finish off Hex and Two Gun; OM on Alpha.

In T2 Durham runs down the road; the Guards close in and unleash hell on Durham (-1 Tree of Death) giving her 4 wounds over 4 attacks. THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He's fun but generally feels like he trends downwards in points. He's not super durable but he is useful for the faction.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I got use out of all of his powers at some point in one game or the other. I think that if you want him solidly in 150 range you could give him +1 Defense which wouldn't be too much of a boost but would help him stick around just a little longer.

I am happy where he turned out. He will be a go to for most any future Bounty Hunter so I think his value will increase over time.
