Unit Summary: Army of Doom tried to take down Sabretooth early but couldn’t finish him. The Brotherhood took the opportunity to wear the Army of Doom down with a superior efficiency (if not attack power). Army of Doom had a few key rolls that went against them.

Black Tom chooses Sabretooth, Mastermind gives Doctor Doom -1 Attack and Sabretooth +1 Attack.

Mystique chooses Doctor Doom. Initiative Brotherhood. Black Tom and Sabretooth advance. Doombot advances. Sabretooth advances. Mystique lets Mastermind and Pyro advance. Doombots advance and one blasts Sabretooth for 1 wound. Sabretooth fails his special on a Doombot, takes a wound, and heals it. Outcast Assault fails. The two Lackeys move up. Doombots blast Sabretooth down to 1 Life. He heals in clean up.
Mystique chooses a Doombot. Initiative Brotherhood. Sabretooth can’t hit, but does move next to the Tree of Life and heal. Outcast Assault activates Pyro and Black Tom, both of whom fail to hit a Doombot. Pyro uses his lacky ability to Engulf a Doombot for 1 wound. Doombot and Doom can’t hit Sabretooth. Mystique chooses the same figure. Initiative Army of Doom. Doombots each hit Sabretooth for 1 wounds. Sabretooth gets blocked but heals 1 wound. Outcast Assault activates Toad, who fails to tongue lash the Doombot on the Inspiring Landmark, but his caustic phlegm defeats a Doombot, which blows up on him for 1 wound. Toad goes again as a lackey, fails hit tongue lash again, but puts 1 wound on Doctor Doom with his special attack. Doombots take down Sabretooth. Mystique saves two Order Markers. Toad lashes a Doombot down from height but can’t hit him. Mastermind is activated with Outcast Assault and grabs the Time Gem, then takes out that Doombot, who blows up on Toad for 1 wound. Black Tom is activated and moves onto the Inspiring Landmark and fails an attack on Doom. A Doombot socks Mastermind for 3 wounds. Another Doombot takes down Mastermind. Toad pulls a Doombot down and knocks him out. The explosion hits. Outcast Assault activates Pyro whose special attack hits a Doombot for 1 wound, the Tree of Life for 2 wounds, and Doom for none. Pyro uses his lackey ability to attack and inflicts 1 wound on the Doombot and 2 wounds on Doom.
Mystique chooses Doom. Initiative Army of Doom. Doombot takes out Toad. Doom can’t hit Pyro. Black Tom can’t hit a Doombot but does hit the Tree of Life and turns it to Death. Pyro uses his lackey ability and fails to Engulf Doom. Doom and Doombot fail to hit Pyro. Pyro Engulfs a Doombot to finish it but can’t hit Doom. Mystique advances. Doom punches Pyro for 1 wound. Mystique engages and can’t hit Doom.
Initiative Doom. He punches Pyro for 1 wound. Black Tom finishes Doom with his special attack.

Mystique chooses Psimon. Initiative Fearsome Five. Psimon advances and fails his rolls. Sabretooth advances and Outcast Assault fails. Psimon stands still and fails his rolls. Sabretooth takes the Time Gem then Outcast Assault lets literally everyone else advance. Psimon fails at everything again. Terrible. Black Tom advances and blasts whiffing Psimon for 2 wounds. Mystique advances, as do the two Lackeys.
Mystique impersonates Gizmo. Initiative Fearsome Five. Psimon chickens out and retreats, but has Gizmo and his bots advance. Sabretooth takes out two Mechanical Constructs. Outcast Assault fails. Psimon attacks down on Sabretooth but can’t hit. Mammoth smacks Sabretooth from height for 1 wound and the Time Gem falls. Shimmer grabs the Time Gem and hits Sabretooth for 1 wound. UNIT SUMMARY: Brotherhood of Mutants is legit in this build! Maybe a tad on the spicy side, though Outcast Assault rolls were just slightly above average in these tests.

Looking at these test and it looks like we need to fix the Lackeys so they can't get double turns. That's unintentional.

On the Second test it looks like Psimon had horrible rolls

without the double lackey turns how far off would you say they are. Would bumping the roll back up to 14 be enough?

Agreed on the double Lackey activation, that shouldn't happen.
Bats and I started out game with opposite d20s, his was red hot and mine was ice cold. Tough to say. I wouldn't go higher than 13. Preference is to stay at 12.

I didn't think either of the tests felt unbalanced. Patching the lackey thing would probably make them right as-is. I also wouldn't go higher than 13. With the lackey change, preference would be to stay at 12.

oh gotcha...I guess I read the tests and thought they were coming in way hot. Good to know it wasn't as far off as I thought you were saying.

I think I rolled slightly above average on Outcast Assault in both matches. The first match felt like it could've gone either way, but defensive rolls went against the Army of Doom a bit there. I don't think I would've won without the extra lackey actions letting me double activate things.

The second one the Fearsome Five got behind early (may have been a couple of missed interactions that could've helped) and Psimon's d20 was really cold, while I was able to mobilize really quickly.

I don't think either team really had a great answer for Sabretooth and his healing either. A lot of resources went into piling wounds on him in both games, but he healed back to full each time before finally getting taken down, so he really soaked up a lot of attention. Toad also had a lot of all-skulls rolls on his special attack. So I think in general dice probably favored the Brotherhood (though getting extra chances with the lackey stuff helped).

Round 2. Impersonate Mantis. VANCE ASTRO with 4 hits but Blubber takes no damage. Mantis puts a 2 wound nerve punch on Toad. Yondu moves in for the kill - 3 wounds on Toad (DEAD). Pyro fails with Living Flames SA and Mystique fails on Outcast 12 roll. She does gain high ground and puts 2 wounds on Yondu.
Round 3 - Impersonate Yondu - Vance Astro with a big 4 wound attack and kill on Blubber (DEAD) activates Natural Leader with Yondu and 2 wounds given to Mystique. Pyro puts 1 wound on Mantis. Mystique with high ground inflicts 1 wound on Yondu. Mantis helps out to inflict 1 wound on Mystique.
Round 4 - Impersonate Mantis. Pyro's attack fails but Outcast Assault roll allows Mystique to inflict 1 wound on Yondu (DEAD)
Mystique and Vance Astro exchange blows but to no damage.
Pyro uses Brotherhood Lackey and is able to do some damage with Living Flame SA - 2 wounds to Mantis and 2 wounds to Vance Astro.
Mantis continues to attack Mystique inflicting another 1 wound.
Round 5 - Impersonate Mantis. Vance Astro leaves Mystique engagement confused who is Mantis and takes a leaving swipe wound. But a successful shield blast on Pyro inflicts 2 wounds. Mystique attacks Mantis 1 wound. Vance Astro also takes 1 wound. Pyro comes in with a Living Flames SA and 1 wound on Mantis (DEAD)
Round 6 - Impersoante Vance Astro - Mystique goes in for the victory but fails. But Pyro and Brotherhood Lackey is activated and Living Flame SA does the damage 2 wounds on Vance Astro (DEAD)).

Round 4 - Toad tongue lashes Ox and puts a wound on him (DEAD)
Big Man range attacks Avalanche and ends him with 3 wounds (DEAD)

Are we locked in at 200 for points? Seems like she's running mildly hot overall, which would mean I'd suggest either a 10 point bump or going to 13 for the d20 roll.
