Big Find in South Florida
I just happened to convince the family to let me stop at the Walmart in Del Ray Beach (on Military drive) while on vacation.

I picked up a complete set of Wave 6 for both me and my son... each.

Amazingly, also picked up 3 out of 4 of wave 4... everything but the Soulborgs and Elves (damn!).

There are still a couple of copies of each (only one more of Greeks and Vipers) of the seven sets on a clearance shelf in the middle of the store.

... And there all marked down to $5 each.

Also a few Marvel sets scattered in three different areas with various price tags ranging from $17 to $10.

Unfortunately for me, I can't find any Walmart in FL, NY or CT where AA is on sale.

I saw a TJ set sitting on the shelf of one of my local Walmarts the other day. Others have reported similar findings of late. They were selling the large sets (AA & TJ) via ship to store request only last summer but I think in the last month they decided to just spread out what they still had at the warehouse to various Walmarts where Scape sold well.

I think they are back to carrying the large expansions, just picked up two Ticalla Jungles at a Wally World here in Georgia just last week.

Wow, very nice. Now I have to decide if it is worth the hour+ trip up to check that out...

Why can't any local WMs have Heroscape on sale? (Probably b/c there are too many of us who buy it at full price... It doesn't have time to sit and go to clearance. )
