Re: The Book of Puck - Design Phase
Have we moved away from using "will" and "any"?
BOUNCING PUCK When counting spaces for Puck's movement, elevation changes of up to 3 levels count as one space. You may ignore Puck's height of 3 when climbing. Puck may move through all figures and does not take leaving engagement attacks. After moving normally, you may place any small or medium enemy figures Puck moved through on any empty space within one space of their original placement and choose one of those figures. Roll an unblockable attack die against the chosen figure. Figures placed by Bouncing Puck do will not take any leaving engagement attacks. WHIRLWIND ASSAULT Puck may attack any or all figures adjacent to him. Roll each attack separately. CARTWHEEL DEFENSE When Puck rolls defense dice against an opponent's attack, two shields will block all damage. For each shield rolled, you may immediately move Puck one space up to 3 levels up or down. SUPERSTRENGTH |

Re: The Book of Puck - Vote for On Deck
I had not really considered that. Pretty text heavy on BP already.
Thoughts anyone? A cloud can change its semblance, yet retain its will With the intimacy of destruction, One knows what it is to be alive The empty sky holds no reflection, for sorrow - Eslo Rudkey |

For instance, Giant-Man's Giant Swat specifies that falling damage applies, but that's a "move" power. Whereas Blink's Phase Javelin does not specify that falling damage applies, but it's a "place" power. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

If we want to add it to Puck, just changes the last line of Bouncing Puck to "Figures placed by Bouncing Puck will not take any leaving engagement attacks but will take any falling damage that may apply." Re: The Book of Puck - Vote for On Deck
OK. So has it been our rule, then, that we specify it when we want it to occur and don't mention it when we don't?
I'm guessing that it wasn't playtested with it occurring since it's not specified here. If we want to add it now, does that alter his value any? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Puck - Vote for On Deck
My guess is it never came up during testing. You need large elevation changes and figures without Flying or SS, so it does not happen a lot.
I would prefer to do whatever does not require additional testing. Theme-wise it would seem weird if he knocked you off a skyscraper for no damage. Whatever the Heroes think is cool with me. Thanks. Re: The Book of Puck - Vote for On Deck
If no one else has cost concerns if we add it in, I'm fine with adding it. It seems thematic. What does the CRB think? Any influence on cost likely from that?

Providing no CRB concerns, I see no problem adding it.
