Izumi Samurai Killer Counter Strike

Elsewhere on this forum it has been discussed that special abilities cannot be enhanced (by height, glyphs, auras, etc).

Therefore would one consider the Izumi Samurai's Counter Strike as a Special Ability?

If so, it stands to reason that it can be enhanced by:

1. a defensive aura
2. a height advantage
3. a defensive glyph

Right?

Potentially, this means that an Izumi Samurai who has a basic defence of 5 + 1 (height) + 1 (Glyph of Gerda) + 1 (Glyph of Jalgard) + 2 (Raelin Defensive Aura) = 10 Defense.

A Counter Strike of 10 dice would totally kick ass. Agreed?

specal attacks can not be enhanced by other ablitys, this is not an attack.
It can be boosted by other ablitys.

Setting up that 10 defence would be hard, and the wise player would attack with range making it pretty much a moot point, and of course go after Raelin first.

Edit: I'm going to work on setting up just this scenario.

so, that would be 11 dice.

Now, now, The DWs have proven that the more defense dice you role the higher the probability of getting NO shields
