Help With 100 years war English Flagbearer

I really am bad at doing flagbearers, i just can never come up with cool powers. So if anyone had any ideas, that would be awesome.

Sounds like a cool idea!

You could start with some bonus or turn activation for common squads. The conflicts of that era introduced the first standing armies since the Roman Empire, and therefore the peasantry took a larger role in conflict.

Mercenary armies were also prevalent at the time. Maybe you could give this flag bearer a unique squad of hired soldiers that he could summon like Iskra does the Retchets.

Die, French dog!
[English Flagbearer] adds two attack dice when attacking Sir Dupuis.

(Too bad we don't have any other French-sounding characters to include).

Actually it greatly depends on the colour of the flag you intend you use.

Or give him a Kato like ability with longbowmen and knights. The knights could be the Knights of Weston. The longbowmen would need a unique card but should probably be something like the Roman archers. To give them a slightly different flavor, I would keep arrow volley but increase the range (by 1) and cost (by ?).

Re: Help With 100 years war English Flagbearer

I agree with Rich10. The most powerful special in the game is bonding. Being able to get more attacks in each turn is huge in winning a match. So If he could let you move large numbers of common squads, even if it is only 2 squads, that would give a huge advantage. Also the combination of being able to move range and non-range in one turn is very good. So some kind of multiple squad moving power would add a great advantage to an army.

Zhoom45 is every character in his own little world which no one has heard of, or wants to enter for that matter.

Those are some good ideas

Also in this set i have longbow men, Pikemen, and Men at arms. (Knights are in a different set). It sounds like some kind of Longbowmen summonding thing would be awesome! Thanks for the help everyone.
