Just a couple of suggestions:

In LIGHTNING STORM SPECIAL ATTACK, how about "Storm may not attack the same figure more than once." and "Storm may not use . . .while engaged."

In LOW VISIBILITY, I guess I'm not seeing why the figures would take wounds and then ignore them. I like the mechanic of adding distance to the 20-sided die roll, but wouldn't it make more sense to be like the Nakita's Smoke Powder, where Storm and her adjacent "friendly figures" would have no visible hit zones. I say "friendly figures" because the way you have it worded right now, if another one of your figures attacked an opponent's figure adjacent to your own Storm, the opponent could benefit from LOW VISIBILITY.

In WIND RESISTANCE, I would suggest adding "or over" after "Figures can never move through . . ." to avoid a situation where a flyer tries to fly over a previously "grounded" figure, only to be grounded herself, and now where should she be placed?

We did that with the C3G Poison Ivy custom.

I know that I do not know.

I like the Wind Resistance power but the name of the power doesn't seem right me though. When I see it on the card it makes me think Storm is resistant to wind. Maybe it should describe the action. Something like Swirling Cyclone, Gale Force, Hurricane Force or something along those lines.

How do you know if a hero is a member of the Hellfire club?

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Agreed on the Overwhelm power. It's like Flanking for squads.

There are some cosmetic issues with the card right now, though:

- The word POINTS seems to be missing from the bottom.
- GUARD should be pluralized in the class section.
- HELLFIRE GUARDS is tough to read against that red background.

Here is another co-op custom from myself and Drewman. Drew and I planned on doing a series of Hellfire club members, but I've been too busy to work on 'em as much as I wanted to. I'll have to think about how I want
to incorporate their Hellfire status as it pertains to the Hellfire Guards card.

Nice looking cards Artemiscorso.

I like Kinetic Energy Absorption and actually have that one done for someone I will be working on in the future but I don't have the limit. I agree with Sir Galahad that perhaps you can have that and Power Overload combined.

Maybe something like this:

Kinetic Energy Absorption
If Black King is attacked with a normal attack and fewer than 5 skulls are rolled, Black King may roll 1 additional defense die for each skull rolled.

Edited: Put in Fewer to replace Less as per Sir G's correction.


I figured that a Kinetic Energy Absorption power really should mostly work vs. normal attacks as certain Special Attacks wouldn't be impact based like a telepathic attack, fire, C3G's Black Canary Canary Cry or something like that. Then again, there are Special Attacks that do involve impact like Kaemon Awa's Quick Release or C3G's Catwoman's Whip etc. So I guess it's up to you on the theme aspect of it and how strong you want to make it.

Sorry, it's the teacher in me. You can have less sugar, less water, but fewer things that are countable. But I know, the official cards don't always follow English conventions.
