Character Bio - Roman Sionis was once a wealthy over-privileged young man, who was in many ways, Bruce Wayne's equal. His family owned a multi-million dollar cosmetic line, that Roman inherited upon their death at his own hands. Soon, Roman rushed the company to put a cosmetic product out on the market that was not tested, and it ended up mutilating people's faces. This of course caused the company's stock to plummet, allowing Bruce Wayne to buy it out with the successful Wayne Enterprises Corporation at a very cheap price. Shamed and humiliated, Roman had a mental breakdown, and fashioned himself a mask from his parent's ebony coffin, and thus began the birth and infamous criminal career of Black Mask.

• At 11:00 pm, on Friday, May 14, 2010, the first playtest was completed. I will wait 24 hours and then I will make a proposition to move to the ERB Phase.
• AT 10:00 pm, on Saturday, May 15, 2010, I proposed that BM move to the ERB Phase.
• At 3:30 am, on Sunday, May 16, 2010, the proposal to move to the ERB Phase pased.
• At 2:00 pm, on Sunday, May 16, 2010, I sent out the Black Mask custom to the ERB for viewing and input.
• At 11:46 am, on Monday, May 17, 2010, Aldin (ERB Member) responded back with his input for Black Mask. LINK
• At 1:30 am, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, I have updated the Character Bio per Aldin's (ERB) suggestions.
• At 12:30 pm, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, I have closed the ERB Phase, and proposed that we move Black Mask to the Playtesting Phase.
• At 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, the proposition was closed on account of the ERB members not aware of the 48 hour time period that they have to respond.
• At 12:00 am, on Thursday, May 20, 2010, Matt Helm (ERB Member) responded back with his input for Black Mask. LINK
• At 12:30 am, on Thursday, May 20, 2010, I proposed that we move Black Mask to the Playtesting Phase.

• At 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2010, Hahma made a suggested change to Criminal Motivation that I went ahead and implemented. I helped to clarify in the last line that Criminals can only receive wounds from this power if they attacked with a normal attack.
• AT 3:00 am, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, SirGalahad submitted his playtest sheet.
• AT 8:00 pm, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, Adam Souza submitted his playtest sheet.
• AT 10:00 pm, on Saturday, May 29, 2010, I proposed that the BM move to the Final Editing Phase.

Is Crimelord one word or two? This card has it as one word and Punisher has it as two.

Not loving Intimidating Tactics. I'm wary of going overboard with these Darkseid like intimidation powers and:

a) making him less "special" in that regard
b) making the attack phase too complicated with the constant subtraction of dice/skulls/etc.

If you're going to have an intimidation power, I'd rather see it subtract defense dice and be specific to Sidekicks. After all, he did kill Spoiler (who I imagine will be classed as a Sidekick).

Oh, and you need to spell out Black Mask in the second reference in the first power.

So if anyone wants a second power here, I am open to ideas. I don't think it is necessary, but if there is a good idea I would like to hear it. I guess Bat's idea of killing Sidekicks isn't terrible, it is just really niche.

Yeah, it is pretty niche, and I'm not in love with it. Honestly, I'm leaning towards keeping him as a one power unit being my favorite option.

I think it would be cool if he was a one power figure.

We certainly could use more one power figures in our arsenal, lol. Plus, as a Crime Lord, he'll have plenty of synergy going on that won't require any special powers to make it happen.

I agree with you guys. I will leave it with one power and hope that everyone realizes that he will have more going on as the faction fills out.

I don't know this guy so I will take him as he comes. If he is a 1 power figure & everybody else agree the end result is a thematic representation of the character then that's totally cool with me.

I could see a Double Attack as I usually see him with two pistols, but I think he is simple, yet elegant as is.
