Mini choices, ranked by increasing expense:

A Heroscape - A couple bucks, but we all probably already have it. Will likely end up being a frequently-used proxy if any of the other options are chosen.

B Heroclix Promo - Like six-seven bucks. Sculpt has a very "early Venom" design, which is cool, but the pose screams "waiter unveiling tonight's entrée" and I've never been able to unsee that.

C Nano Metalfig - Might get lucky and find him cheaper on ebay, but might have to commit $10-20 to a larger set of figures to pick this guy up

D Heroclix Sinister - Like fifteen bucks. Pretty similar to the Heroscape sculpt, but with more prominent eyes, and he's a little burlier.

As long as we have pics, I'd rather avoid reusing sculpts if at all possible - so I'd be against the Heroscape one.

Preferences are probably D > C > B > A, thouhg really I'm fine with either C or D. Both feel appropriately "prime Venom" big beefy boy.

The waiter comment made me laugh out loud, that's spot on. I use Hasbro Venom as a proxy for everything, so I have no preference.

Yeah I’m just going to use HS Venom. I do love that tongue less version other than the pose. Haven’t seen it before.

Thanks I used the Heroscape figure and our first Venom didn't do I don't really see an issue with using the Heroscape mini here. It's not a reuse technically as we've already used Heroscape tCB figures in C3G cards.

Yeah, I'm on the same page. I don't like to reuse figures on C3G cards, but I don't really consider the Hasbro cards part of the canon.

I still use some of the Hasbro cards, can't say I've used the Venom one in years though. If someone else does use it though, it would be nice to have two different 'official' sculpts for potential Venom vs. Venom play. I think T sent me the Nano figure one, so either he or me can get you a pic for the card of that one. Then most people will just use the Hasbro one unless they really feel like they need a mini for both cards.

Yeah, I didn't actually look at any of the spoiler tabs since I really don't care what the official one is. I'll just be using the nano figure either way. Just assumed he was posting web pics of the options. Now I know why he's been on a Venom tear, he needs a card for every figure he's bought.
