We decided on Protector here for Storm's class. Would we prefer changing it to Rebel to represent the AoA Storm to go in the budding Rebel synergy? It appears she was only tested in 1 game in Protector synergy(which was a big loss), so not likely harming anything she was tested on balance wise.

If that option is favorable, another possibility is the inclusion of a small 3rd power, that gives her the class of Horseman if in the same army as Apocalypse. That'd just be a theme nod though, as it may not make much of a difference since he can just make Mutants a Horseman anyway, though it could future proof for a potential Weapon X version of Apocalypse.

Not something I'm pushing for on either case, but I figured better to bring it up now pre-release, and while there's still plenty of Rebel testing to go with 4-5 designs to come.

I thought this was supposed to be 616 Storm? I haven’t read AOA so I can’t say if it’s thematic. Does Storm run with Sabretooth and friends?

No vote, but personally fine with the Class change if it puts her in desirable build, but fairly against adding a third power that would mostly be trinket text.

Would be a tough sell for me - just based on the power level and sculpt, this isn't a Rebel version of Storm, it's a "I am 100% committed to the X-Men and will perform my duties as a leader and teacher" version of Storm. It's not something I can really buy cheating into the faction, at least in this era.

Not sure where you see the leader and teacher aspects here, but alas I knew you’d be the likely one to have an issue. All good. We can have 6 Storm(I, II, AoA, Teacher/Leader, Goddess/Queen, 80’s punk) designs if need be if wide casting nets/lunchbox are not desired.

As for power level, I’m not sure the difference between the Storms, but a Storm that controls powerful Storms seems like any Storm.

I just don’t want to arbitrarily make a faction. If she runs with them In AOA and this design is essentially the same character, sure. But clearly wasn’t made with that in mind. And we’ve already kind of had this discussion with Scarlet Witch, so I don’t want to start breaking themes for the sake of a “fake” faction.
