oh, this looks fun. YEA
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Yeah, I think having an OM rescue will be nice for the Guardians, since they don't have an OM hub and their bonding works off sidekick type powers.

Not a traditional OM hub, certainly (admittedly some overlap in function, though). She's not a Reed Richards or a Captain Britain. She hands out OMs to figures (that can then use sidekick powers).

yea

I kind of like the idea of Mantis having all the OM's and handing them out each round, but then someone kills Groot and Drax takes them all for himself.

Hadn't thought of that, but yeah, I like that too.

He seems like a good fit for a Star-Lord build
Not a ton of direct synergies so consider Baby Groot and/or Nebula

... OK, if you want something more off-label... well, Robot of course. Zombie is another decent backup bonding option.

At high points you could try Star-Lord, Martian Manhunter (II), Drax (II), Azrael, and one of Daredevil or Hasbro Venom, along with Masahiro and Baby Groot. Azrael starts as a Vigilante to give MM2 4 markers, but then becomes an Assassin to allow Star-Lord his bonus. Masahiro bonds with Azrael, Baby Groot bonds with everyone. MM2 gives you 4 big turns with (probably) Drax over the course of the game.
