All of these figures where painted by myself, and most of them are 25mm A.K.A, 1/72 scale, or O scale for train people (like me), shorter then "real" figures, but it works...

There may be some misspelling in this, i use paint for wording, so it is hard to catch mistakes. And it has come to my attention that some off my powers are confusing and i did not write what i ment, i have started a new way of doing powers, but old ones i can't change or several reasons. But anything new should be 100% ok.

Welcome, A&W! Being your first customs, here are some tips:
1) You don't need explanations as to WHY abilities work. Just type the effects. You can type them, but it makes the card needlessly wordy.
2) Use the same size font on things that are supposed to be the same size.
3) Don't forget the point costs or heights!
4) 12 range seems kind of insane. Try toning down on overpowered units.
5) Use a spell checker, if possible.

Get these right, and your on your way to better customs!

You can (and probably should) type everything in Word or WordPerfect (or whatever word processor you have) and then copy/paste to the art program you're using.

Nice start. Check out the card making tutorial for advice on how to make the cards look more official.

Also, the best peice of advice I have is to make up a basic card file in Photo shop or whatever you are using then you can cut your text from word and replace the text wich already has the corect font and size Bold or not ext. It realy speeds things up.

Ooooh, I like those units. Do you have any Cav yet? Have you found any ACW figs in the right scale for HS? I'd love to have them alongside my Minute Men and the upcoming 10th Regiment of Foot. Keep up the work, I'm looking forward to more.

no i don;t have any cav yet, but i am painting them now. These figures are a little smaller than heroscape, they are 25mm, but i deal with it. i have some cool british cav to go along long side the 10th, they are !!!!!!!

Excellent. Light Brigade are good. 25mm is fine. As are 30mm. Long as they're not 40mm.

Do you have any plans for further Civil War cards? Some of Jeb's 1st Virginia Cav would be nice.

Or the Union's 21st Ohio Infantry.

So many options.

ys i have some plans, i have 2 confederate heros im finishing up, and im working on the confederate cav, i think that thats a cool idea to make it the 1st Virginia. And any day now i should be geting some union people.

And i have just finished painting some French Foreign Legion figures!
