Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
Yeah I think you would have a really hard time pushing that power through.

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
I don't see it as much different than what Carol Ferris already does. As long as there aren't figures taking a turn during other figures' turns, it should work out. I'm not much of a rules guy though.
LOVE BONDSBut if it doesn't, Karat's idea of making the Lasso reactionary is a good one. |

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
I’ve always read that as only being able to take a turn if the Beloved is your figure. Maybe I’m wrong on that.

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
Definitely the intent. Not sure how you're revealing an Order Marker and taking a turn with a figure that's not yours!
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
Oh man, I've always read that power incorrectly then. I assumed since she could choose an opponent's figure as her Beloved, she could use her bonding with an opponent as well. Whoops.

Here's another attempt at that same sort of theme:

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
You want "its turn" not "it's turn" but that seems to work otherwise. I like the reactionary direction. I'd much rather see that happen on an enemy's turn than a full turn for Wondy.

NAME = STAR SAPPHIRE SECRET IDENTITY = DIANA PRINCE SPECIES = AMAZON UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = LOVER / CHAMPION PERSONALITY = PASSIONATE SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 7 MOVE = 7 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 410 VIOLET POWER BATTERY 3 Start the game with 3 violet Battery Markers on this card. Add 1 to this Star Sapphire’s Range and Attack numbers for each violet Battery Marker on this card. LASSO OF LOVE After this Star Sapphire or a friendly figure is attacked by an opponent's small or medium figure and after defense dice are rolled, if this Star Sapphire is not engaged to the attacking figure and is within 4 clear sight spaces of the attacking figure, you may remove a violet Battery Marker from this card and place the attacking figure on any empty space adjacent to this Star Sapphire. After placing the attacking figure it receives one wound and its turn immediately ends. The attacking figure does not receive leaving engagement attacks when moved with Lasso of Love. AMAZONIAN TRAINING When this Star Sapphire rolls defense dice against a normal attack from a non-adjacent figure, one shield will block all damage. When rolling defense dice against any attack from an adjacent attacking figure, if there are excess shields rolled, the attacking figure receives one wound. SUPER STRENGTH FLYING -------------------------------- Thanks guys! Here's an updated post; I'll leave the first one unedited so this discussion makes sense if anyone goes back through it. Amazonian Training could be replaced with anything but I figured it's thematic and works well with the lasso. NAME = ORANGE CONSTRUCT SECRET IDENTITY = SOLDIER SPECIES = ENERGY UNIQUENESS = COMMON HERO CLASS = CONSTRUCT PERSONALITY = MINDLESS SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 1 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 4 ATTACK = 4 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 50 ORANGE CONSTRUCT CONTROL Add 1 to an Orange Construct Soldier's Attack and Defense numbers when within 4 clear sight spaces of an Orange Lantern you control. At any time, if you do not control any Orange Lanterns, destroy all Orange Construct Soldiers you control. JEALOUS GREED Whenever an opponent takes a more than one turn during a player turn, at the end of that player turn, you may move any or all Orange Construct Soldiers you control. SUPER STRENGTH FLYING ----------------------------- Here's a generic Orange Construct idea. It's the last piece of the Orange Lanterns to really complete them as a faction, IMO. Larfleeze should be able to start with a huge army of constructs (and then create more as he pleases with the Stolen Identities). Jealous Greed is there because I felt they needed a "greed" power of some sort, and I didn't want to tie it to Equipment Glyphs since Larfleeze and Lex both tread the ground already. Ideally they'll come in at 50 points (or cheaper) for easy army building. |

Re: DC Lantern Corps: public workshop
I’ve never really felt the Oranges needed to start with an army cause I kind of enjoy the gimmick they have going on. That being said, I wouldn’t hate it either.
Jealous Greed seems kind of crazy. When you’re going up against a bonding army, that’s an infinite number of 6 space moves every turn. Not busted, but I think it’ll be a cost driver. |
