Wal Mart Stocking Up?

I stopped by a local WM tonight, they have three complete sets of Wave 5 on the shelf.....12 more "expansions" in the back and 24 more on order due in the coming days. With about 5-7 castles and 5-7 master sets and the normal 5 or so Orms and RTTFF.........that is a huge increase over the past.

Are they stocking up? is this a precursor to the new waves coming out?

Anyone in need? Check out the Walmart on Mill Plain and I205 in Vancouver WA.

i noticed that too. Still no wave 5 at any WMs when i go, but since the day of release for castles, i had not seen one anywhere, but i saw 3 at one closest to me and another 2 at the one my first one came from which, for the longest time had removed the tag for castles...

I was just at my WM and they were loaded up with Wave 5......At least 5 complete sets. They also had 6 MS + 6 RTFF + 6 Orms.

Really weird like you said, I have never seen that much HS stuff there.

They may be getting stocked up for the holiday season...it's starts earlier and earlier every year.

I agree! There is still Thora's left over from the first stock of it from a few months ago. Along w/the usual, they also just got a new restock of castles which made me a very happy man.

The Walmarts here (Calgary, Canada) only have the Master set and a few of wave 5. I did find the Tundra and Castle sets at Toys R Us, but have never seen the Forest or Lava sets anywhere.

I have been stopping by this very same Wally on a regular basis, they are slowly moving some of the inventory but not real quickly. Last week they had two ripped up MS boxes, they wouldnt discount them though. :*( This week however the inventory has grown yet again.......

20+ MS
10+ Road
10+ Orms
10+ Castle
8 1/2 Wave Five sets
partial Wave Four

I havent ever seen that much in one place before, any official statement when and how much the price cut will be for the holiday?

If anyone needs pieces, this is a good place to find stuff.

I think they are stocking up early for Black Friday.

My local Wal-Mart has tons of Waves Four and Five now, a few bits of Wave Two, tons of Castle, tons of MS, several sets of Road, and of course tons of Orm's as always.

Oddly enough, the lasttime I went to the local wally world, they were out of Orm's.
