Re: C3G Promotions Dept. | SSE 94 - Tokyo SOS
Nice! I had fun with this questionnaire. Lets bring it back for the latest release!
1. Favorite design of the release? It's really tough to pick, but I think I have to lean Ghidorah. That one took a lot of tweaking to get just right, but I think T really laned in a great place for him. 2. Most surprising design of the release? Funny to say this about my own LD, but I'm kind of surprised I ended up running a design for this release. A giant mostly immobile plant monster wasn't something I had anticipated I'd be doing this year! 3. Design you feel adds most to a faction? I guess Gigan for this, as he's one of the few here you're likely to frequently play with other figures. I like that you can get some use out of playing him with Steppenwolf and Parademons. 4. Design you feel has the biggest competitive impact? King Kong (II). He's straight up naaaaasty. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. | SSE 94 - Tokyo SOS
1. Favorite design of the release?
Tough call, they’re all pretty fun. I’ll pick Ghidorah as he’s all-offense which is always a fun play style. 2. Most surprising design of the release? Both Mechagozilla and Biollante have some unusual mechanics and work really well with those. Impressive designs for sure. 3. Design you feel adds most to a faction? Nothings really factional except for Gigan, but he is a really nice addition to the Invaders. They’re a fun growing faction. 4. Design you feel has the biggest competitive impact? Most likely one of the 1000 point figures, so King Kong (II) would be my pick. We’ve really expanded the 1000 point options which I think may shift the tourney meta a little. Godzilla and Gorr have proven themselves as competitive mainstays, and now there’s a few other big threats to prepare for. Should be interesting to see how it affects things! |

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. | SSE 94 - Tokyo SOS
First time I'm seeing where a lot of these Godzilla designs landed, so...
1. Favorite design of the release? I dig the look of Rodan. Very clean, hits an uncommon point total. Dark Phoenix-y but with his own spin on the mechanics. Also really love where Ghidorah went and his all-out attack/reward for just annihilating DOs. 2. Most surprising design of the release? Cool to see where Biollante landed - I like it for a weird reason which is that it feels like the giant monsters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Very video game-y sort of approach to a 'boss' with multiple life bars, gives it a distinct mechanical feel. 3. Design you feel adds most to a faction? Definitely Gigan. He's gonna be a lot of fun as Invader stuff gets built up. 4. Design you feel has the biggest competitive impact? Kong looks pretty nasty just eyeballing the contenders, impressive toolkit. I think Mechagodzilla is also (at least for the moment) unique in being such a meaty vehicle option, so that'll shake up the kinds of armies you can see a bit. |

I do like that Gigan can automatically win one of these 'yearbook awards' by being the only one to be doing anything factional in the first place
