Marro Subtype: Lavra (A Braxev Incorporated Production)
So I decided to take a break from painting Orcs and do a repaint of what EVERYONE does a repaint of: the Marro. But I couldn't stop there, no. Everyone does Black Marro at some point- I'd rather do an imitation of the Marro on the box. Big Purple Marro with honkin silver guns and green globes! And of course I had to make some custom units of them.
 Anyone who can tell me where I got the name "Genics" and "Lavra" from get a cookie for being intelligent and informed people. Hint: Their abilities make a lot of sense if you know. and yes, I know, they look like gummies. I have no idea why my camera makes my figures look like gummies. They really don't look that eatable in person.

Quick Question. Is the cookie old with mold?
Are you using a glossy paint of flat? I'm no card pro at all, but the wording seems odd to me. Sorry I can't help out any further. Hopefully someone will jump in and do a better job at helping.

Glossy paint of flat? No, I'm not using a glossy paint, and the figure isn't old at all. Brand new, really. I've been informed that must brush is about three times as long as the ones used for normal miniatures; this is apparently the reason for the ugly appearance of them. It makes me very sad; I can't undo and redo my previous paints properly.

Ah! Lavra = Larval, so you're pretty freaking on the spot with that one.
 Genics = Genics. Marro is essentially a rip off of Marrow, which is bone. (Notice how Marro look like skeletons with muscle/flesh on them) Another word for Bone is Osteo. Osteogenics.. Stem Cells! And Marro Genics are flexible and capable of becoming any other Marro when killed.
