I was running just the basic game at WMMS, it seemed popular with kids and adults alike. The adults were really interested in the modular terrain, saying that it would be good for other game systems.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Looking to run a summer tournament at The Games Shop in Aldershot. Would be on a Saturday. Could you let me know level of interest. I will provide scenery (9 Base sets, RTTFF, Fortress, Icy Tundra, Rise of the Marro). Would it be easier to do constructed or draft? I have all expansions so far apart from three of the flagbearers so draft is feasible.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
I've lost my profile pic (ugly face with piggy tails) - you must remember me Richard - you sent me a signed Hawthorne, a few years ago
Anyways, I am clearing out a ton of Master Set stuff at present - ruins, unopened dice, order markers, figures, etc etc. If anyone within the UK is interested, drop me a PM, otherwise I will try my luck on Ebay! |

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Can I say that I had a great time at the Dr Who event at Birmingham Library, the other Saturday. We had so much interest in the Dr who game, I didn't stop all day! Hope we have as much interest at the Tolkien Weekend on the 17th - 18th May.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Hi guys, I have interesting news. At work, we are currently moving to our newly built library, which is fantastically huge, and, more importantly, comes with a couple of large function rooms that we hire out (for free). I am pushing for a games weekend type of event, based around, primarily, Games Workshop type things (as they have a presence in the town) and, secondarily, Heroscape. Are there any new (or old) Heroscapers that might be interested in such an event, and who would be willing to travel to High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire for it? PM me!

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)
Hi everybody! Just to say that the Tolkien weekend was fantastic, I ran 9 games over the weekend and every one of them was full up. The Evil faction managed to wipe out the Fellowship twice, but as usual Gimli was a killing machine! Next Sunday we're at the Big Book Bash at Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham playing our Dr Who game and I might set up the LOTR game as well.
